I wish I knew more about working on cars. I only know very little maintenance. It'd be nice by my old EM1 just sits in the garage and hasn't been driven in 2 years. Its got 60k now and only seen maybe 2k miles in 10 years. Maybe its time I let it go to someone who knows how to take care of it.
Omg dude it’s literally like a dream car but like I don’t wanna do no crazy mods just some tasteful oem+ build it would be crazy awesome if I can get a em1 in the next 5 years would be a dream come true
instead of selling it, start working on it and learning by working on that car, that’s the only way you’ll really learn about how to do things on cars, don’t let it go you’ll regret it
I hope the quick jacks allows you to make more basic maintenance videos like this. Love to see these quick jobs and just hanging out in the garage like you said!
Always fun to watch videos from places that don't see as much snow and salt, I could change my brakes two times a year and they would never be this easy to work on. I replaced and painted my calipers and brackets last summer and almost need to do it again lol.
Love what you have done to the car! I have the same car. You gave me some ideas on what to do to mine. I just put a header and exhaust on it. Much more to go
Should have put the bedding process in as a lot of people dont even know they need to or do it wrong and end up glazing brand new pads. Anyway, love the content man.
Great video man I love your channel and the new quick jacks are sickkk. one thing I wanted to note was your brake fluid looked dark in the resirvoir but I wasn't sure they have devices to check the moisture in your fluid that might be something you want to look into just to verify your fluid is in tip top shape :) also you said your boot on the passenger side was torn and thankfully it's not leaking. they sell rebuild kits for only a few bucks and it's fairly easy job, that could definitely be a factor of the uneven pad wear even if your slider pins are properly greased up. Just speaking from my personal experience on one of my customers car had the same exact problem, after I rebuilt the caliper it was smooth sailing and the wear on the pads was perfectly even :). all in all great video keep up with the production, I'm slowly building my dream civic and was planning on doing the rear disk conversion too so I can't wait to see that video when it comes out. have a blessed night and stay safe 🙂🙏
Nice. Couple of things, regrease the slide pins. Also, i always bleed the brakes when changing brakes that way im always changing the fluid at least a little bit
That’s what I’m planning on. I have everything I need, just need to get some trailing arm bushings pressed in. The rear drums aren’t hard, I believe in you!
Hey brother how many miles is that d series at currently? Looking to do the same thing with a civic as you and make the most out of the original engine before a engine swap?
BEFORE COMMENTING ON THIS VIDEO YOO MAN WHAT DO YOU HIGHLY RECOMMEND ON DOING WHEN YOU REPLACE THE DOOR SIDE WINDOW MOLDINGS TO MAKE THE RUBBER SQUEEGEE PART OF THE BLADE TO GIVE IT LONGER LIFE AND HELP IT FROM DRYING AND CRACKING WITH TIME JUST LIKE THE ONE'S YOU REPLACE ON THE R.S.X. ANY TIPS ANTHONY ??? ✌🏼OUT
Easiest to take the mirror off. From there slide it forward toward where the mirror was. Roll down the window and grab the trim and roll it towards you. Should hear the clips pop and it will come off with that rolling action just like the RSX
@@ALLDAYANTHONYLMFMAO I MEANT TO ASK WHAT KIND OF PRODUCT CAN I USE OR DO YOU RECOMMEND TO PROTECT THE RUBBER SQUEEGEE BLADE WITH LIKE SOME " GTHECHNIQ " CERAMIC COATING SOMETHING TO PREVENT DRY CRACKING IN THE FUTURE TO HAVE THEM LAST LONGER WHILE INSTALLING NEW O.E.M. TRIMS ON THE CAR HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE NOW THANKS ANTHONY ✌🏼OUT
@@ALLDAYANTHONY I never messed with the brake booster either. I learned it all from a hondatech sticky. Ek chassis specifically does not need a prop valve swap. My dx hatch ran 1” Master cylinder and ls integra knuckles/brakes that I took off a crashed car.
Hey Anthony, I got a question. So I have a 98 hx, and everyone does 15x8 wheels or 15x7, but I did some measuring and theres NO way those would fit correctly. I just wanted to know if 2000 fenders are wider than 98 ones?
Just out of curiosity what kind of fuel economy are you seeing in your civic using it as a daily? I’m looking to get a 7th gen celica sometime in the future and wanted to know what smaller engines from that time period were getting in mpg.
that Celica has a 2zz on it im guessing? correct me if im wrong, anyways with the engine properly maintained and running correctly then you should be seeing mid-high 20’s in the city and mid 30’s in the Highway
Thank you for keeping the civic alive. Not many people have them anymore
Really looking forward to your rear disc conversion

Where you from? Let me cop it.
I feel like I know a guy…🤔
Where are you from man?? I’m 19 and I’m learning how to do cool stuff right now and I feel like an em1 is the perfect project for me

4:43 Is just cartoon noises for a few seconds and I can't get enough of it

Patiently waiting for that rear disk conversion video! Wanting to see your very detailed video as always!!!
Very cool setup Anthony ! Glad Dane was able to swing by. Those lifts are the real deal and I can see how they can make doing any job much easier.
Love what you have done to the car! I have the same car. You gave me some ideas on what to do to mine. I just put a header and exhaust on it. Much more to go
I'd say this height for the jacks is perfect! Able to see everything easily and if it works best for you then even better!
Sweet video, love seeing the civic maintenance

Anyway, love the content man.
EJ8 is back!! Even if it’s just one video it’s nice to get a lil update here and there!
I’m here just for Dane appearing in the video 😉
Love the quick jack
It’s the best!

Hi All Day Anthony, really miss your videos, hope you will post a new one soon!
Hey Anthony, I think it would be a cool idea for a video, if you showed us how to do the TL-S Brembo brake kit swap onto the RSX/ Civic.
The height looks great as does the overall video quality.
Im not sure what the setup is like for the go pro, but I think a little mount and turned upside down usually results in a really hood pov
very nice video, love the editing
Thank you very much!
Nice vid Anthony! Just wanted to pick your brain on em2 civics and your opinion about on em.
I think they’re cool, just rarely see them tastefully modified
Nice. Couple of things, regrease the slide pins. Also, i always bleed the brakes when changing brakes that way im always changing the fluid at least a little bit
About to do this on my EJ8 but I'm not looking forward to replacing the drums in the rear.
Would you upgrade the rear to disc brakes on the civic?
That’s what I’m planning on. I have everything I need, just need to get some trailing arm bushings pressed in. The rear drums aren’t hard, I believe in you!
@@ALLDAYANTHONY not hard at all, just don't like the look nor performance of them lol. Looking forward to the swap video when the time comes!

Currently trying to find a new motor for my 99 civic 😔
Junkyards!!
when you do the rear disk conversion, you dont need to swap prop valves. the SI and DX for example, ek chassis share the same oem part number.
I heard the brake booster doesn’t need swapped but the prop does. Do you have a source on that so I can read into it?

Jus picked up my first whip, it's a 2004 rsx base model w less than 100k miles, shi is so nice and honestly such a good choice for a first car
Fellow idahoan here! How does your civic handle during snowy conditions?
Bro where u at .... we haven't gotten upload in so long , are u ok 😢
Anyone have any good recommendations for removing road tar from paint? Probably just go at it with a clay bar?
Asphalt remover.
What are your wheel and tire specs? I have a 99 coupe I'm restoring for daily use so these specs would be amazing.
15x7.5. I have several videos about them
@ALLDAYANTHONY I remember watching videos but I can't find them on your page. Thank you anyway man.

My rotors are stuck. I just changed the pads
Hi Anthony 👋 how you doing? Can i have your quick jacks for $0.01😀😀?? Nice vid 🔥💯💯 keep it coming man!
