Hey everyone, thanks for watching this wow classic video on weird paladin gold farms! It takes awhile to do these but it's super fun for me, so I'm super glad to see people enjoying my content. If you are enjoying it, it helps a lot if you like & subscribe as it gives my channel more visibility and reaches even more paladins out there that might be struggling to make gold!
In this video I headed to Zul Gurub to replicate the same boost that mages do, and I've manged to get 300g per hour on average with Bijou sales and charging 15g per run per player, but this is on EU realms where the economy isn't so tanked yet. I did this as holy, and sadly I don't think prot or ret would work, but as always you guys will probably surprise me! In any case it's a pretty nice gold farm and it was fun for me to work this out as a paladin!

@@Tedjyt sounds good! but it was really easy, zg rings i got just by rolling offspec in the guild, tank neck from ony head, deathbone, and one green bought of the auction house for 15g and i was on 409. but im scared of trying this so far :P

Hey there, Tedj. Thanks for the awesome video. I appreciate all the time and effort that went into this. I only have one 'gripe' with this as far as 'gold-per-hour' goes.. Your GPH is heavily based around having 4 boosts going at once. But from what I've come to understand, you don't want to have more then 2 people being boosted at once or else it will hinder the 'boost's' EXP-Per-hour. I've never really 'gotten' in the boosting game especially for ZG and was curious about your thoughts on this... Have you had the chance to do this for several hours with 4 boosts rolling? Or have you experienced any challenges with your marketing? Thanks for your time.
Hey! In my realm it's not really hard to get people asking for a boost, today I was attempting a few naked runs again and some people even asked me to join just in case, as there seems to exist a lack of mages doing it. Everytime I've seen, and what I've done has been with 4 people, but I've also seen that trend where they put in less people. If I did that, I would charge a little bit more, perhaps even 25g/run? But prices vary from realm to realm.
Regardless, if you were to boost only 2 people at just 20g/run, that would average 160g/h from boosts, plus about 100g/h from bijous (again, realm specific, they sell for 3.5 in mine, in EU, in a locked-realm) which is still in the 260g bracket.
I have seen however people praticing much cheaper prices in the US in streams though, like Jokerd because US economy seems to be a lot more crashed (maybe due to bots), and the bijous on his realm were also like 1g each, so it would be incredibly hard for him to even reach 250g I'd think.

You can judge Justice the cubs to prevent them from fleeing. Works as a warlock with CoRecklessness
Yeah I know but there's a CD on judgement so unlike warlocks I wouldn't be able to maintain it on a lot of them especially because I can't get in melee range to hit to "refresh" it :(

i came out of curiosity to your video and found something special, for me as a Raidlead it wasn't the Paladin game play sry :( , but your Weakaura especially the way you set Raidmarkers.
Is it possible do set more than just one Name to Mark mobs like that? Maybe even with fix Marks for them, Name 1 -> Marks 1-4, Name 2 -> Marks 5-8.
I am not a Programmer my self and can just make sense for some of the code lines. I am probably a bit late with the comment on this Video of yours but on the off chance you read it it would be really nice if you could help me out.

Yo! Ain't no "off-chance" that I read it in my channel, I read every single comment! There is a way to do that yeah, now the thing is, you need to understand how I did my WA. A few key things:
1) It only applies the mark when you target the mobs
2) It can't distinguish between mobs with the same name, so say you have 10 mobs named Bear, it doesn't know how to distinguish that already there's 4 Bears marked, so it will just override on the next 6
If those things are ok for you, this might be possible to do. I think it's easier to tell me specifically what context you want to use the WA for and how you want it to work.
If you reply to me here, click the REPLY button so I get the "@Tedj" tag and I get a notification, UA-cam shows all "new comments", but isn't very good at notifying me someone has replied to an already existing comment chain.

It would be no Problem if the WA marks the 5th Target with the same name as if it was the first.
I would use the WA specially for the Trashpacks after the Twin Emperors in AQ40 because there are a lot of Mobs to mark and they patrol to tight so you don´t always end up with the Pack you marked :).
As you probably know, those packs can exist out of 4 mobs of a combination of 2 Mobtypes and one fix mob.
I already have shortcuts for every single Raidmark, but just to tab through them would be nice.
I found a WA that doe´s kinda what i want from it and i can work with that.

I've made it quickly, it was pretty simple what you wanted :) Add the names in there, anytime you target those mobs, insta marks them as per assigned!

Is it possible to do only the mistresses so i get the hang of doing the bridge jumps if i'm not confident about remembering the route for the crocs?
It definitely is, but if that's your goal, I'd advise picking up the crocs next to the bridge (pack with 4) and try with those, as they don't do a lot of damage, and last for a long time!
What is the radial blessing menu you use? Have never seen anything like that.
It is a custom ring made with "Opie"

Is it really impossible without engineering? You only use the stun bomb from it?
What about a run speed item to run away from the mobs up to the bridge? Nifty Stopwatch or Skull of Impending Doom?
Well you can use skull/nifty but the long CD will make it not "spammable" :(
By any chance did you try running potion instead of bomb ?
I think potion there was still on CD because of the swim speed potion

For sure! Actually if you see the kill I did, I didn't use any sappers!

once i get enough gold via stocks ima buy epic mount then move onto this farm. even if i do half ass jobs and sell it at cheaper then mages its still be alot more then stocks

Very impressive that you were able to do this with a pally at all, but at this point why not just roll a mage? The amount of preparation this takes is pretty heavy, also fishing for Noggen slow fall mid way through the run is an absolute crap chute. I've had instances where it took 20-30 potions just to get the slow fall proc.
Not trying to downplay your determination to get this to work, but this is bonkers to do as a farm.
Maybe you didn't see the other video where I do this naked haha. At this point I'm doing this with full spell power gear already, so there isn't really that much prep. More gear means quicker kills. The only thing is the noggenfogger which yeah I've had some cases, but even if you don't get the second noggen, you can still make it with an early bubble. But more importantly, I don't want to roll a mage, I like playing Paladin! :D

You dont have to be in that specific place facing that particular direction to jump to the rope. Ive never used RP walk here. Ive always jumped to the rope. If your about halfway between the ropes of the bridge, you can just hold left and jump and you’ll land on the rope.
It does seem easier to have the camera facing where you said, but completely unnecessary. That jump is easier than people make it out to be.
To be fair, ive only done it on troll, gnome, and undead. Never human.

i mean at the point were you need to farm a gear set, respec etc. your better off just doing this on a different class thats better at dps like warrior or mage. kudos for making it work but not something i think is a worth while money maker.
Well, if you're already holy there's not much need to respec, and the gear is really easy to get too! But at the end of the day, if you sell some boosts like I've already done, it's very worth the respec, I got between 250 and 300g/hour! You can see in the video it's about 100g without boosting so even that might be worth, especially for someone who doesn't want to level an alt mage you know? That's my goal here :D
tedj yeah i think if you dont have an alt then this is pretty good. But respecting before and after raid twice or more times a week will cost quite a bit. I think if you really wanna make alot of money level an alt, if your in a pinch and like the idea of this then sure.

Those were just the prices being practiced in my realm really, maybe due to a shortage of boosters and the economy not being as tanked as the US.

Not that long, I'm working on a video to do this naked now haha. I've found that actually you can do this with any gear, so spell power gear is next and I should have them down within 12-13min of starting the pull, which is still faster than lockout!
