Best link to a UA-cam search for '(Song) guitar tutorial'. Finding vid's of songs being played without the annoying commentary is next to impossible. Anyone with basic chord knowledge can follow this tutorial and it didn't require a narrative. Thank you.
Perfect timing James. Just saw the doc about her. I knew someone who worked with Janis Joplin and she told me that Linda was the only female singer that made Janis envious.
Awesome song and you do it justice....loved playing along, easy and fun...thanks...Keep those videos coming I always look forward to them........Yeppers I have to agree with JigglyPuff..Warren Zevon rocks, but so does Ronstadt....
the trifecta of the Warren zevon classic Warren himself the author Linda's cover and Canadian country now MIA singer Terri Clark cover always love Linda's cover of Carmelita too
Great tune, just saw Lindley perform it solo a few weeks back. Wondered about the chord changes and although he was playing an 8 string this helps me. Thank you.
Great song. Great cover as usual. I have been lusting after your J200 for a long time. Finally bit the bullitt. It arrived yesterday. I will see if I can play it as well this afternoon. Thanks
Just search for privettricker poor poor pitiful me and you'll find the lesson I posted on the old channel. That should give you what you need to get rolling.
Figured it out! Thanks for replying! I have said this before in some comments. Your right hand is golden!! The best ... I appreciate your contributions to my song library.... lol.
i've always liked the outro on this song it could on a bit more imo, who is playing lead guitar? i'm gonna guess one of the following: Jackson Browne, Lindsey Buckingham, Zevon himself, Waddy Wachtel, Jim Messina, R.Furay, or one of the Eagles,
I know Wachtel played on Zevon's version and played in Ronstadt's touring band, so he seems the likeliest suspect. Browne produced Zevon's version and sold Ronstadt on the song, though they cut some of Z's S&M references.
Whenever a Warren Zevon song is played, life becomes 5% better.
Yep, *at least* 5, and possibly 8-9% when it’s a Linda Rondstadt version played by J.J.
Check out that bio, "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead". Sobering.
That’s great man! Finished your lesson of this one and tightened right up playing to this! Your one of the best on UA-cam in my book!
Good pick. I remember when this was released in January 1978. 42 years ago? WTF! Waddy Watchtel
you better believe it is Waddy
Can't nobody sing like Linda! Hometown girl makes good!

Warren Zevon! Great version.
That guitar dude. Wow
Best acoustic guitar I've ever played.
Haven't heard this song since I was a kid. Thank you!

The marriage song
she was awesome and still is
Love Linda!
Thanks!! Gonna try this it's in my range!!
Good one JJ, I heard her do that live, along with Tumbling Dice blue me back in my chair,,, what a voice!!! Good pic.
Working this song out with my wife, she plays the uke, big Warren fan.
Love me some Linda. :). And Waddy.
The lead has some Fleetwood Mac'ish elements. "Rumours" was pretty big deal around the time this came out.
Nice job again from the human metronome

Sounds like Waddy to me.
