    Such a neat clip! What a band. I'm sure few, if any, are still with us, RIP to those who are not.

      Norman, was down to earth. Off stage,he acts like a uncle, that takes no mess, yet cool to be around.

    3:50 por fin una buena interpretación de este tema, por lo general las versiones posteriores le eliminan el punteo de la guitarra y le agregan otros mas suaves y sin sabor.

    Sounds like that will never be heard again. There's no appreciation of good music. Today's groups don't last very long because of their egos. Everyone wants to be number one.

    Baritone David Lerchey (1937 - 2005) appears to be completely lost on the choreography. I find that puzzling since, according to Wikipedia, "Lerchey formed another Del Vikings group in the mid-90s shortly before his death in January 29, 2005." I wonder how his singing was at this point in his life.

      The other three fellows- Norman Wright, Ritzy Lee and Doug White had been working together since 1960 and had been working alone as a trio all through the 1990s. Their choreography was tight. When they had a big show, Dave would come in and join them.

      Mr. Lerchey was in his 60s in this performance. That could be why.

      David and I were very good friends. At this point, Dave was having serious health issues. He spent a great deal of time at the Miami VA Hospital. He helped to school my group on many topics of the business do's and don'ts. His voice wasn't at it's best, however he still had a near perfect pitch ear.

    Something doesn't add up. I'm going on 80 years old. TJ lipinski was born in 1972. And yet he talks about all the people he's met back when they had these hits and his grandfather's Savoy record label etc etc etc. So he must have started meeting these people when he was how old???... Just sayin...

    • @Frnk_3
      @Frnk_3 2 роки тому +1

      Well a lot of these guys were aging when he met them in the late 90s-early 00s. He was in 20s and 30s at that point.
