The other songs are poignant and detail his battles with relationships, lost time, and substance abuse in a way only GSH can admonish.
I'm a bass player as well. I think Robert Gordon is still alive. He is one of the best bass players I've ever heard. He is also underrated. I've never heard in play with anyone other than Gil Scott Heroin. But I take nothing from his talent. Gil Scott Heroin is one of my favorite entertainers of all time
