I am so honoured to have stood in the South Bank as a kid in the 70's and seen such great football from a team of mighty players. Mighty Wolves. All my blessings!

Steve was a great Wolf and fantastic servant to the club. Thanks for the memories!

You gave us some great memories Steve, I loved watching you charge forward in central midfield, shame you moved to City but understandable. Pleased you've come home though................and its good you still play a key role at the club.

One of the best. Should have never left wolves. Well worth the million pounds. In today's world he would have been worth at least 60 to70 million. A legend 😀⚽🥅

A quality player whose price tag weighed too heavily on him at Manchester City.

Should never have left Wolves as never performed at Man City. A bit like David White who was great at Man City but struggled the other side of the Pennines.

I'm sure he'd have preferred to stay with Wolves all his career but in a short professional life you have to go with the money
