I feel like if you had a playset of one of the 2 drop ramp artifacts, this could have been a lot better because then you could t1 ugins + ramp artifact t2 metamorph but you still only have 2 ramp spells so you're highly unlikely to draw too much ramp.

They are somewhat. He's playing in ranked, but still, his mmr is garbage and often the decks have some really off meta (trash) cards, so it makes sense he gets matched against other dingus decks
