Thanks for this detailed video. Quite agree that first class is the way to go when these units are crowded in standard class. I wish the class 68 loco-hauled trains had remained in service with TPE ... after all they were intended to provide adequate capacity for busy routes.

Really enjoyed the scenery as you went over the Pennines. Nice to see a train with comfortable seats for a change. Bearing in mind I’m used to class 158’s and 170’s in Inverness, your train sounded quite noisy.

Makes sense why they're loud, given that they have the same pretty big 19 litre 750hp lumps as a Voyager or Class 180, 170s and 158s have engines a lot smaller
