I'm not a fashion expert so take what i say with a grain of salt but I feel like as long as the clothes you wear suit your figure and personality (and skin tone and hair colour, but to a lesser extent) amd that you feel comfortable in the outfit, you'll look wonderful, not silly. plus, please don't worry about people thinking or saying you look odd or strange - people complain about everything and everyone and fashion/style is no exception. everyone from supermodels to classic designers to avant-garde fashion magazine editors has been criticised by someone for some reason but they simply don't let it get them down, as they know that whatever a few people say won't affect them and no matter what others say, they still look amazing! never let people get you down, some people just like being unkind and their words mean nothing and are not at all actually targeted at you, just their inability to be nice lol.
These fits would work for anyone if tailored properly but still as long as you use color theory, complementary fabrics and textures, and a general goal you can look good no matter what.
