For me, the "family dinner" scene where Yelena reveals how their time in America was REAL FOR HER is the best part and the heart of the movie. Great writing and brilliant acting by Florence Pugh.
There's great foreshadowing to that which I didn't notice the first time. Like when Red Guardian hugs them while they're walking away from the copter Natasha breaks away right away but Yelena stays with him even as she complains about him.
This movie makes Nat's death in Endgame so much more painful. Knowing that Nat and Yelena would otherwise have had the time to reconnect and rebuild their sisterhood.
Yeah that was a great look, also great that it zoomed in on her a little. Holden Hardman does that a lot when he shows movies to his girlfriend/fiance/wife on his UA-cam channel.
You forgot the post credit scenes. In fact there were two versions for the end credits-One for the theater version and another that came with the DVD to compare which one you like the best. The post credit scene leads into the Hawkeye TV show.
Alexei and Melina are deeply flawed people...broken people. They, like most in their "occupation" were horribly abused, specifically to themselves become abusers. That they managed to do as well as they did with Natasha and Yelena, is pretty impressive. But most of all, you can tell they really do care. It's sincere. You don't remember the words to your long-lost daughter's favorite song, verbatim, for two decades...only to sing it to her when she's hurting...if you don't love her.
I don't THINK you've reacted to The Mummy - Rachel Weiss (and BRENDAN FRASER!!!) stars in that, too. It's such a fabulous movie. I saw it with my friend in theaters for her Happy Mummy's Day present lol
Seen that when I was a child. Starting to think my mother let me a d my siblings watch too many movies or is it that some don't watch movie really. Idk but still surprises me of these old classics ppl react to like Forrest gimp saying first time 😅🤣😂
Regardless of how you feel about the movie, I’m so glad they resolved what happened with Clint and Natasha in Budapest. It was a throwaway line in the original avengers movie, and I thought at that time “ there’s an entire movie in that one line.”
I've always liked Black Widow. Thinking about your description of her as being overly sexual I'd like to point out that using their sexuality is part of the widow's training and probably starts at a very early age. Natasha may not be able to divorce herself from that completely.
"I don't think tanks have that turning radius" Well, it's an APC, but still, that's a really impressive thing to catch in such a quick moment! Definitely not realistic 🤣
You can absolutely control yourself while falling. That is what skydivers do when they form those big formations and whatnot. There is a thing called iFly (indoor skydiving) where you can learn how to do all the controls in a wind tunnel.
I like the fight in the Budapest safe house. The way the older sibling is winning, so the younger one just loses it and starts smashing things. Clever observation.
"Captain Falcon".....nice!!. Glad that you have your sister to watch it with you; I like the parallel with sisters in the movie and sisters watching it...awesome.
Actually tanks have a tighter turning radius than most cars, IF you do it right. You see both sets of tracks can be used independently. So have one move forward, while the other moves backwards and the tank will turn in place, with absolutely no forward movement.
@@edreed9189 LOL I first learned it playing Battle Zone in the early 80s, and actually had it confirmed in the early 90s. True what they showed was an APC but tanks are more maneuverable than most think.
My tank (US Army tanker for a decade) could slide turn like that, but top speed ... faster than you think, but not that fast. Regardless, that wasn't a tank. It was a BRDM or something similar.
The entire scene from the helicopter crash to 'Mum's house' was all shot in Surrey, England, a few miles from where I live. In the case of Hankley Common however, the local village, Thursley, is named after Thor, which I must assume is some production in-joke for those 'in the know'. Terminal velocity is not when you die. In this case terminal = final - as in the highest velocity your body shape can get to before drag stops you accelerating.
6:22 In the comics Alexei was Natasha's husband rather than her dad. The KGB faked his death and he became an assassin called The Red Guardian. They used his faked death to manipulate her into becoming one too.
FYI, terminal velocity doesn't have anything to do with the speed being enough to kill someone, it's the fastest speed an object can fall through the air (technically, it can refer to the fastest speed an object can fall through any liquid, but it's usually referring to falling through the air on Earth): the point where the friction from the atmosphere is enough to keep you from continuing to accelerate. Although hitting the ground at terminal velocity is almost certain to kill you, that's not where the name comes from. It's because it's the terminal point where the force of gravity is canceled out by the forces of friction and buoyancy so that the acceleration becomes zero.
But you can get severely injured hitting another object at that speed in the air right? Like another person missiling towards you can "running" right into can break bones, I could be wrong but I feel like that's right.
@@timjohnson3518 that depends on relative speed. How fast is that person rocketing towards you? It's equivalent to someone running towards you full tilt to a person riding a bike. tho not shown in this reaction, around 11:16 when the two Widows meet in the apartment for the first time as adults, Yelena is stepping backwards through the kitchen doorway and her foot gets caught on the doorjamb or uneven flooring. I'm convinced this is a blooper that got left in the movie because when Scarjo, still in character says "watch your step" FloPu? smirks with a "yeah, you got me" kinda sheepish look on her face and then it immediately cuts. Great fight scene.
When their fake dad was in prison and bragging about fighting Captain America, he likely wasn't lying. Steve Rogers did go back in time at the end of End Game, and live through time with Peggy till they both aged, so he likely was doing secret missions, probably some of which were with Peggy when she ran SHIELD during the Cold War.

I really enjoyed Black Widow. It has alot of good action, mixed with that on-brand humor we have come to expect. Plus the dynamic they all have as a "family" is great. Yelena (Florence) has one of the best introductions in the franchise. Funny, interesting and she loves Nat, even though they aren't actually sisters. The love they all feel is real. Speaking of Yelena, watch the Hawkeye series. That is all I will say. Overall, this movie was entertaining. And that is exactly what I want out of Marvel movies. Entertainment. 👌

You both are so adorable!
Best to you-
I really enjoyed Black Widow. 👌
You should do the Mummy next!!!
It's always fun to see another person reacting!
"The Pacemaker guy..." lol
BTW - NOT a floppy disk. It was an IOMEGA Zip disk. They stored about 100Mb
You didn't see in theaters, it was released straight to Disney+ . ScarJo sued Disney for all the money she lost for it not being released in theaters
where is the end credit scene?
I could see Carly having her "poser" moments about Cass....something growing up that Cass did but little sis found annoying. Ideal movie for you both to watch
I think you'll like Shang Chi, too.
BTW, the "ang" part of Shang is pronounced like the "ong" in "wrong", not like the "ang" in "hang". I never knew it until the movie came out.
