The Best and Lightest Reel On The Market!?! Shimano Vanquish 2023 1000 SSSPG Unboxing!

Got my hands on the brand new Shimano Vanquish 2023 SSSPG. This is a reel a lot of anglers have been waiting for to come out for some time now. A upgrade from the previous model, being a tad bit lighter, and improving its casting distance. along with other upgrades. This reel is the rival to the Diawa Airity, and is said to be the best lightest reel on the market. This reel has a lot of trout anglers excited for its size, weight, and overall sensitivity. Fishing trout, and other similar game fish is what this size reel is aimed for. Shimano looked to make another fantastic fishing reel with this one and i look forward to fishing it.

I love my 23' Vanquish c2000s for Trout. It gives you a little more line capacity and speed and only weigh's 0.2 Oz. more.

Try 0.3 Polyester line.. u will very satisfy and enjoy ur finnese fishing.

Put VARIVAS High Grade X8 PE 0.3 around 6 LB's 150 M Thinner stronger than power pro. You will have plenty of line.

did you load it with ester line? or? how much of line can you load on that reel? what lbs.? thanks😊

Havnt spooled mine quite yet gonna go with 3lb phenix braid with a leader,
Says it go 100 meters of 2lb mono or 80 meters of 2lb fluoro 🤙

Vanguish is the king of the best sensitivity reel out there , but not for me , stella fk 5000xg is how far light i can go . Long live shimano

Cant go wrong with the stella! Built like a tank!! Havnt fished it but can imagine its a fantastic reel. Just love the vanquish for its finesse and how light it is!

Ill be honest i have yet to use it 😅🤣 i have been waiting to take it out and break it in going to either utah or the socal area. But as soon as i start using it ill give my honest feedback

The number one 1000 size spinning reel is without doubt Daiwa 23 Exist SF 1000S-P ! I have used it for one month now, and it blows anything out of the water, including my Shimano Vanquish 2023 1000 SSSPG !!

The daiwa exist sounds like a fantastic reel, but at that price point might be a little out of my budget😅, cant see it being that much better than the vanquish for the extra cash

150-200 meters of line are more than enough! Japanese know very well what they doing.
