This is the one I'll try for my eyelet ribbon, fast and easy to remember. I'll do it with the end and beginning of the ball of the yarn so I'll not measure the length of the cord. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹
I am sooooo glad I found your video! This is almost effortless once you pick it up. The other method of taking off 2 loops would have taken we a week to finish an 18" length! This took minutes once I caught on! Thank you!
Greetings from France 🥰 Congratulations. A big Wowwwwwwzzzy. I agree with many viewers of removing two silly loops thing. I was DESPERATELY looking for a simple video and came across yours. This was my LAST hope. Didn't give up and watched the beginning and to my surprise IT WAS THE BEST OF THE VERY BEST video on UA-cam. Measurements were really interesting. I call this video MY JACKPOT. I just completed two cords of 50cm for my project and also attached my pompoms. It's past midnight and I can go to bed SMILING. Thanks for sharing caring and making me SMILE 😊. 🥰🥰🥰 A big hug from my Newfoundland and me🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍
OMG ! After spending hours with 2 different knitting techniques for making an icord for a girl's hat I discovered your crocheting technique...effortless and super fast ! I was dreading making more knitted icords for future projects and am SO HAPPY I discovered your channel. THANK YOU !!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I've using it as the starting chain for other projects. So much neater and easier than what I was doing previously. ❤
Thank you. I think out of all tutorials, you're the only one who gives the estimate yarn length needed for the below one. I made this for my drawstring bag 😊
Thank you so much for this awesome video! Just started crocheting for the first time, and this easy tutorial allowed me to make a bracelet for my brother:) I was done in 20 min - I love this video!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for preparing this video and for teaching this cable stitch. It results in a nice even finished cable. I needed these for sachet drawstrings and had many to do. Your video was spot on, easy to follow and understand. Thank you also for the length estimates. 1:26
I can't tell you how happy I am to learn this stitch pattern. I was looking for the perfect one to put a loop on pot holders, mesh plastic bag holder, anything really. It's a good sturdy cord. I Love It!!! Thank you and God bless you and yours 🙏😇🙌
This is the one I'll try for my eyelet ribbon, fast and easy to remember. I'll do it with the end and beginning of the ball of the yarn so I don’t need to measure the length of the cord. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹
Same here, I need a rope for a Halloween costume and I figured since now I’m into crochet I can somehow find a way. On top of that I want to make something to cover my kids cords(they are always stealing mine and when they are brand new) 😂 so there’s no way they are getting out of this one since I know I’ll be able to do this 😂 Have a good weekend and be safe
oh how I love you so much for this! Making the cord has been my least favorite part of crocheting bag. But with thiis, surely I can enjoy making it! thank you so muuchh! :)))
Thank you!! This is so much easier and faster than an i-cord. I used this for the wires in my Blitzcrank video because an i-cord was too thick but a tight chain was too thin and had no structure. 👍😄
This seems so easy to do. I have a few ideas of how to kind of decorate this cordage and make a beaded necklace using the pattern and a smalleryarn. TYSM for sharing this method with us. 😻
Thank you thank you thank you thank you I have been watching numerous videos and have not been able to catch on how to do this I finally understood watching you 🥰
Thank you so much for this. I have a project that's calling for a sad, regular chain stitch cord and I *hate* chain stitch cords lol like don't tell me that is a finished product. Using this instead 👍🏻
This is gorgeous and so easy!! I HATE trying to make crochet icords and I want something nicer-looking than a simple chain. THANK YOU for making this video!!
Hi, I made a small crochet bag to use up those small pieces of soap. This cord is perfect for a drawstring. It was very quick and easy to make it. Thank you. 🤗🌹👍
Oh, my goodness! How simple and easy! I have tried and tried to learn other techniques for making a crochet cord, but they always seem to turn out flat and open, not round. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I needed to make a bag strap and I've tried several different types and have failed at them. This is just perfect!
Thank you! Looks so easy, I’m definitely going to try this. Now that I’ve been crocheting a few months everything in my house is going to end up being made of yarn 😂
This is PERFECT!!🥰💃🏻I watched so many tutorials on how to make a cord and I want to thank you .🙏 By the way I also made it with double yarn and came out Just Beautiful.🙃🙃
Thank you so much for this video! I saw a short on something like this. It's like knitting with a crochet hook! ❤️ it! If only I could figure out how to add another row.😊
Thank you so much for this nice easy & so calming tutorial....The music , all is perfect! I adore this cord! Now i know how to crochet it thanks to you🎯❤️🌈‼️
Fantastic tutorial, thank you! I was looking for an easy icord that i could make into a very simple key chain. Your video guidance is perfect for someone that learns visually. 😊
This is the one I'll try for my eyelet ribbon, fast and easy to remember. I'll do it with the end and beginning of the ball of the yarn so I'll not measure the length of the cord. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹
That’s great! Thank you for the tips 🥰🌺🌷
Thanks for the PIN, I thank you for your response and sharing this amazing cord. It saves time and energy and excellent for eyelet ribbon ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, this is much better than the other method of having to take off 2 loops every time.
Yes, way much easier than the 2 loops method. Thanks for sharing
Super giant thank you for making it such easy and simple and fast!❤
Ya I’m not able to that other one
Yes it is. I hated using that method. This pattern is a blessing.
Agree!!!
This way is much easier, especially for dark colored yarn!! Thank you for sharing!!
This is great! Much simpler than the other method with 3 loops on hook, taking 2 off, etc. Love the simple presentation, also. Thanks!
I use this as my foundation row instead of chains and then single crochets - its really easy and neat.
That's a good idea.
Thank you so much! I was failing miserably at the two dropped stitches icord method. This is so much better! :)
Thank God. I've been trying that and it's hard and stressful, I had to find another
Right! So much easier
I got that method down, but it turned out flattish and I didn't like it.
Yeah..me too….this one is better and easier .. 😊
Same here, I could not get the hang of the 2 stitch drop method, this looks way easier. 😊
This is bonkers!! After a lot of swearing and even more dropped stitches using the “take two off” method, this is an absolute dream!!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks. I use this for the starting chain of 'from the center' blankets and other projects.
I've now done this cord doubling the yarn to make it thicker, so easy and effective thanks again for the tutorial x
O M G You are a HERO!!!! I never have been able to do a cord to save my soul!!! Thank you so so much!!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! THANK YOU so much!
Reminds me of those wire chords we’d make ad children to use as keyrings, we used to call them scooby doos
Wish I could hit the thumbs up a hundred times!
Thank you. I think out of all tutorials, you're the only one who gives the estimate yarn length needed for the below one. I made this for my drawstring bag 😊
OMG. Thank you so much. I used two colours and knotted them at the top, I have a beautiful icord thanks to you. ❤
Thank you so much for this awesome video! Just started crocheting for the first time, and this easy tutorial allowed me to make a bracelet for my brother:) I was done in 20 min - I love this video!

LOVE this. Thank you for sharing. It’s going to work perfectly for a cinch closure for a bucket bag I made.
Fantastic! Simple, quick cord without all the fiddly bits of icord. I love a simple straightforward video, thank you!
The BEST cord tutorial out there. None of that hold these stitches here and there. I couldn't keep up with the others this us much simpler.
This is the easiest way to make a cord that I have seen… thank you.

Thank you so much. This video literally saved my whole project today 💖
😍🥰🤗Lovely, thank you! I am using this technique as a foundation! No more chains!

Same here, I need a rope for a Halloween costume and I figured since now I’m into crochet I can somehow find a way. I usually just make a chain, turn, and slipstitch into the back of each chain. Looks quite similar and works wonderfully for washcloths etc. ;)
Thank you for this demonstration! I had completely forgotten how to do this!!!
