Another option for horizontal rack. 1” dowel rods glued into a pair of studs that have been pre drilled at matching angles. Cut the 2”x4”s to the desired lengths to accommodate as many barbells as you plan to own. Plus extra! 😉. Great video!
That’s great! My drill press is super old and it is difficult (or impossible) to change the angle. But I love having multiple options for storage solutions
I have said this before (I’m a commenter from Reddit that you told me you had a YT channel a while back) but you have incredible build videos. The detail to which you go to help us build these projects is…quite amazing actually. I subscribe and have watch 1,000’s of woodworking videos over the years and yours are top tier…hands down. Somebody like @stumpynubs would be impressed I have no doubt. Again…thank you for the professionalism and details you put in your videos. Much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I love making these videos, they're a lot of work but hearing great feedback like this makes it all worth it! Thank you so much.
Great job as always ! Thanks for sharing your job Hope you will show us your « version » of : Arm lever (that can be also use for leg extension/curl) Cross cable pulley
Thank you so much! My lever arm video is shot, I just need to take care of some legal stuff before I post it. Once that is done I can work on the other projects you mentioned.
wood lever arms for rigs or racks. Wood incline bench. Your the best! Cause if you, i'm buiding my self a Belt Squat Machine for my home gym!! Hi from Qc.

@@KaizenDIYGym awesome brother
very very cool!!!
Thank you so much! I'm planning on doing a few DIY home gym basics like this over the next few months. In between the bigger projects.
Nice! 👍
Thank you so much! I’m planning on doing more of these quick diy essentials in the coming months.
Fantastic
Hey, I’m glad you like it!
Can you do one on dual set powerblock storage?
I’d probably do a generic “adjustable dumbbell” storage, but yeah, I’ll add it to my list
@@KaizenDIYGym that’s awesome, definitely looking forward to it. Most I’ve seen are for a single set not for 2 sets
I'm making a list of projects for the next year of videos, what are the top builds I should include?

you build so much stuff, when dobyou have time to work out? lol! great tutorial, I will definitely make this
I work out 4-5 days a week, about an hour each day. I release a video once every two weeks. I just make it work 👍
@@KaizenDIYGym wow!! all great stuff!! keep it up
Do you need any special screws to secure wood to the concrete wall?
I was fortunate to have studs to fasten to, but I did find a video that can help you drill into concrete: ua-cam.com/video/VPz80DaOjcY/v-deo.html
Yep... I'll get myself a mitter saw, a drill press and cool wood boring bits to build this... and save myself $59.
That’s awesome. Once you have those tools you’ll be able to build so many things for your gym.
It’s pretty sexy bro! Don’t kid yourself!! Saw on Instagram . I love it man
Haha, thanks bro! I'm glad you think so. It is definitely nice to have extra barbell storage in my gym now.
@@KaizenDIYGym it is! I need this for my hex bar and curl bar!
