Coool video, man. You got some great images. My film is awaiting the scanner and I can't remember half of what I shot. Nice to finally shoot together 👍👍
Cheers man, and thanks for taking me around for the day - looking forward to seeing what images you got too! We should definitely do it again some time!
Can we expect a vlog from you on this outing? Thought I saw your X-T4 doing a bit of vloggage. Love your film videos... hoping to get a 6x6 TLR this year or next. Your vid tonight was brilliant as well.
@@ItsBlasFamous It has been a few years since Thomas shot some street photos! I think it was some kind of 24h challenge he went or something like that :D

What, this is great! I had no idea you two knew each other. I love when photographers, especially from different genres, get together and hang out. This was wonderful.
Yeah, we'd been chatting since the very early days about 6 years ago, when we both had less than 10k subscribers. I'm glad we finally got to go shoot together!
My 2 favorite youtubers did a collab! This is like a dream comes true. Although I was inspired a bit more from Joe's style, both has been my greatest motivation to pick up the camera and shoot. Nice work as always!
Great stuff Joe! Always nice to see two photographers who shoot totally different stuff together doing their thing. Lovely shots btw, that highlight roll off looks lovely 👌
Absolutely! Bright skies in the height of winter can be relentless at times, but they're always crisp and fresh. This day seemed to have a mix of all things at once!

I've been a fan of Thomas for a few years now, he's awesome. You...I just found you, and it only took about 3 minutes into this video and I hit subscribe! Looking forward to seeing more from you, past and in the future. Great Video!
First time I've seen one of your videos Joe, and it probably only showed because I like watching Thomas Heaton. New subscriber 👍liking your style of photography and vlogging, can't beat a bit of flare and bright highlights. The shot of the Hassy viewfinder is quality.
Hi Joe nice to see you out and about with one of my fav. Thomas is funny because you two are so different photographer nice place love your photos of the tree's missiing Ellie....hope to see more of the two of you in the future 😊 ☺ enjoy and stay safe...
I really enjoy both of your content and together even more. Keep creating these awesome videos Joe! Btw your urban view paired with landscape makes the photos look really really good!
Really pleased to have "discovered" your channel. Street couldn't be more different from landscape photography, so this was an unexpected but interesting crossover. Looking forward to more...

Great to finally see you together. I got the impression though that you were both feeling underwhelmed/not feeling it. But you seemed to pull some lovely shots out of the bag. Was it a case that the images actually turned out better than you thought they would?

Wonder why UA-cam left the video quality which is set to auto at 480p, yet I can select the full 2160p 4K without any issue, for wjatever reason wonder if YT outside of the US deliberately does.
Random as. This autoplayed onto a Thomas Heaton collab. The lens flare thing I've never understood. It adds excitement. But modern photographers shun it and now after many years it is creeping back in with conditions. Those conditions are that utubers allow it as long as it is controlled and intentional. Which is funny. Because it really is a case of it is what it is. There really isn't a snobbery element to it. It is light and does add drama. I cant remember when it became a failing or poor technique I was out of photography for a while and it happened in that time frame. Anyway your shots are beautiful and was happy to stumble in here. Also love the over exposed areas. Also another failing and poor technique .... obviously lol. But light is light and there are no rules other than those imposed by your peers. But one rule always hold true. Its wrong and poor photographic knowledge and ability until it makes money. Suddenly it becomes sought after. It didn't even have a name when I was learning photography but now it does and now it has a name and a negative context 'clipped' highlights is a no no. But the funny thing is that now the only reason it can be avoided is nothing to do with photographic ability and all to do with paying £22.00 a month for LR subscription or other exposure blending and focus stacking software. Many a photographer would probably have to give up if LR went bust. Thank you for sharing your journey.
15:22 Isn't it amazing how that Limestone pavement Tom is walking on, high on the moors in northern England, was laid down by trillions of dead shell creatures in a tropical sea bed millions of years ago?
