This is tragic. Lord please protect and comfort their wives and kids and parents and everyone affected by this tragedy. I can't imagine the grief they are experiencing and I pray you comfort them❤
The sad part is people see this and still seem to keep on drinking behind the wheel . The drunk driver should be underground and these boys should be living there life with family and friends
Utterly wrenching - two good kids, a loving family and a hockey community worldwide stunned by the selfish actions of one jerk leaving devastation in his wake. So damn tragic because it was so preventable.
still can't really process that Johnny Hockey is gone. to top it off both their wife's are pregnant.. such a sad story. Im a Kings fan, but above that, I'm a fan of all hockey, Gaudreau was loved by everyone.. I loved watching him play. The night before Kobe Bryant's helecpoter went down, I was driving home late at light in LA and the fog was soo thick I couldn't see more then 50ft in front of me on the freeway, I had to slow to 45 to be able to proceed safely.. When I woke up the next morning to hear that Kobies chopper hit a hillside, I couldn't believe someone would actually agree to fly in those conditions.. It was hard to let him go. His death could have been prevented had Kobe decided it was too dangerous to fly all those ppl in those conditions. I have never seen fog like that in all the years living here. Johnny's death however, was out of his control... I'll come to terms with it eventually. Another great talent just gone to chance.
Just buried my brother who was a BU terrier , and this comes on my phone 📱, sorry for your loss , I'm guilty in my youth of this disease as well was my father's , the anger is a dangerous period for family making arrangements and with a widowed mother, I still am sober for years even after he passed. I clearly didn't continue this destruction heresay my divorce etc... but I wear an armband just for others to understand disposition and the shape I'm in....Ask Alex van Halen, Jim Belushi, Morgan Langley, Lanny Simmons ,Angus Young and I how we could have our brother back, but this pathetic excuse of a man took from the Hockey family as well as surviving brothers make it unclear what to democratically judge him for.

The father's grief is heartbreaking, you can feel it. Their wives, so strong for being up there to do eulogies for their men, incredible strength.
