You don't need the Bible to legitimize what you have discovered. Of course, if this helps other Christians be open minded enough to hear what you're saying, more power to you. EX sountern Baptist preacher's daughter here and I also left all that dogma behind, but the way he illustrates it may help someone that has the Bible attached to their hip...this may help them look at it from a different angle and then maybe, just maybe they'll open their mind.
