Diane, you are such an inspiration. I'm learning. The way you explain, coach & help us!!! Yeah, you!!! Rah. Rah. Rah. I've been at it awhile ( decluttering, organizing, blessing, repurposing, giifting, etc) but I'm learing soooooo much more from you & the flylady system. I just went through a large box of "treasures " that I thought I was done with. I went over it again & recycled about half! Yeah, me!!! I'm looking @ things differently now, thanks to you and your kind teaching. Rah. Rah. Rah. Have a glorious victorious day, dear lady.
For the official last week of the 40 day challenge ,I have decluttered 121 items with more to go .I have never been a hoarder but there are many things I don’t need or use .I am determined to get back to essential s only that “spark joy “.Thank you so much for the motivation.

You change some of our heart beats into Danish beats. . .when we get motivated by ya, lol! One day I hope to come to visit Denmark because of you and the skinny dipper dames and no this lady does not do anything skinny including skinny jeans. 👖 I Thank you 😊 from Fran in Texas! And to clarify what I mean by coming to visit because of you and the ladies is that I adore your friendship and the healthy aspect of doing what you all do and not allow some icy water or drizzling rain stop your routines. . .you don't let much stop ya there, lol. Thank you Diane for another very enjoyable video. I enjoy your channel because I can hear you without the irritating music or ads that other channels have. This makes me feel more relaxed and as though we are real friends talking in your kitchen or mine.! I was so inspired to declutter last time round that I hardly have any Easter Decoration left, lol. I've started to blow out eggs when ever I use them and have quite a stash of natural eggs to decorate - we also hang then on branches in Switzerland. And they can go into recycle when Ester is over and I get to have new ones next year. Yay :). Loved your top today.
We call these pretty grey fluffy things "chatons" in French ("Kittens"). Thank you for your videos: I'm glad you came back on UA-cam!
Last few days got lost with my declutter items, hubby on holiday so distracted of my plans, but will complete in next few days.
I tossed or recycled 114 items Tues. & Wed. I have been helping friend with a lot of dog sitting and babysitting. I will post my progress later today. I was thankful that I was able to do part of routines last night. Diane, thank you so much for this challenge. I enjoyed seeing your Easter items. Today is another day of watching best friend's dog, then helping with her grandkids. She is going through a rough time and has always been very generous with her time and help.
My total for day 39 & 40 was tossing 190 items.
What a fun spring video Diane, I have already decluttered my Easter decorations this week too as they are stored in the family room, zone 5. I also found some unwanted natural string and feathers in the craft drawer that I have put out in the garden for all the wee birds that are building their nests. I quickly managed to film then grabbing it before it was all snapped up to show the family. 🥚🐥🌱🐇🌞

Productive and fun! My few Easter bits are about but still snow through next week. I had so much fun with Easter when the children were home. Lovely times to remember. I was able to go through my sock and lingerie drawer yesterday and a surprising amount was tossed. I am giving thought to joining a strength training class at the gym, a good new habit.

One thing we do for the environment here in the US is stopped burning paraffin candles...they are big polluters! We buy coconut oil or soy candles now, so I’ve tossed old paraffin ones out. We also only burn cotton wicks.
Good for you. I switched to ones that take AAA batteries. So much safer when grands are around or if I forget and leave a candle burning.

I’ve been decluttering for about ten years now, ever since I read a book called Clutters Last Stand. It was written by a guy who owned a cleaning company so he was helping people to make cleaning their houses easier.
I introduced many ideas which have made cleaning a breeze. For example mounting my bedside tables, toilets and washbasins on walls so that I can vacuum and mop super quickly .
I loved that book too, as well as Elaine St James' books on decluttering.
I finished strong at the 40 days with extra increased weights at the gym and am feeling even stronger/ more toned😊My declutter one a day continues with the 40th day being tights ( mine)and PJ's ( from DH). Also, a plastic storage container and some ( gasp) black tall boots. As a result of the title on my email lists, "40 day challenge," my mom and sister got a ton of stuff donated!!! Go all of us!😁😁😁 Your Easter eggs and tree are lovely!

Glad to see you back; I enjoyed seeing your decorations, so pretty and using feathers in them is neat, I never thought of that but it fits right in! One reason I enjoyed your decor is because I haven’t decorated for holidays in such a long time, because you’d never see it because of all my clutter!!! Ha! But hopefully I’ll get that taken care of. I ran out of steam on my decluttering challenge but I did learn that you can keep is simple and still get a lot done. Have a super weekend!
Peter Rabbit is so cute! Spring arrived and I am walking outside again. I added uphill streets to my routine. I only have a few Easter decorations left--small animals--to go on the mantle. Christmas stuff is a different story--too much! Thanks for taking us through 40 days of self-improvement. God bless.

Thanks for the 'no stress' 40 day habit challenge! I've followed along regularly with 40 days of decluttering. YAY! I also reviewed other habits, looked at working on a few new things, and didn't beat myself up for not doing everything perfectly. Thanks for begin a cheerleader to so many of us!

Yes, we did it!! I made it to the end of this challenge with daily decluttering. Like you said, when your house is pretty much decluttered like mine is, you really have to get creative to find things, but as I said before, things kept coming up when you put your focus to it. Very satisfying. My items for this week are: a magazine, 2 plastic tubs, a plastic file, a marker, a timer, post-it notes, a hook, plastic boxes, and expired food from the fridge. You have some very cute Easter decorations there. Thanks for this challenge, it has been fun!

Actually, Mrs. Grubb AKA... Jennifer! YOUR life seems to be the perfect example of what the Fly Lady System will look like AFTER a Flybaby has been using it for a while. I have just been reading about it, watching videos from various people and collecting cleaning tools and products, for YEARS! The piles get bigger and then you have trails in your house !!! So... I am going to limit myself to 4 videos ( for 15 min. breaks ) and get off my "Bahookie" and just do it! I didn't watch your Christmas series because I couldn't do it. I had too much guilt over the mess so it made me depressed even more than I already was. This is going to be "The first day of the REST of my life"! Along with TAKING my life back, my goal is to be able to watch your Christmas series as well as be able to actually DO it !!! Thank you for showing me what my future can look like "in real life" not just the dreams in my head. I will report back monthly and hold myself to progress, lots of progress !!! P.S. My mom a B.O. person was from Norwich, England! I love your Scotland videos too!

Yay! Loved this video so much. I paused video to get my easter decorations out too to decorate with you and ended up have a good clean out of the closet too. Love all your Easter decor and sweets. I also have pussy willows that I decorate too, adorn with plastic baby chick's and colorful eggs. Happy Spring & Happy Easter! Ps. My thoroughly modern millie DVD arrived yesterday and so excited about watching today. Yay!!!
