Lol. It's risk management at the end of the day. Net gain 350k this year alone. All I do is options primarily waiting for straddle entries. Retired from 9-5 and my wife no longer works at all. I'm 24. People fail do to greed. Simple as.
Options is not trading, it’s gambling
@@OhMyByul0701 that is a dumb thing to say
I can assure you it's more than risk management. I can trade with 0.01 lots and still lose on that alone but yet i'm "Risk managing". See my lots are low!
@@agentdark64risk management doesn’t just mean risk small. Its a lot in-depth that just that
😂😂😂😂 options??? You are the luckiest gambler I've heard. Save that money and don't return there because you will likely lose all that money back to the platform
slow and steady wins the race
Great advice. 2% per month consistently averaged over time is very doable and beats fund managers. Make that return with £100K capital and you're looking at close to the average UK salary....but no boss, complete freedom and doing something you love. In mg opinion most traders are severely undercaptalised so stress their small accounts far too much in an attempt to make decent ££££. There's no secret ingredient....just skill, decent capitalisation and small risk in relation to your capital.
2% is not easy guys. That's the problem
@@eyes1111 consistently? maybe not, but 2% is easy. thats one winning trade. maybe 2.... barely
@@Andreabay90 obviously consistently, i have done 10% for 2 months....I am talking about doing every single month.. yes 1 -2 trades.. i personally risk 0.5. However no one is considering drawdown.. Just look at the expert traders, 2% consistent you will be millionaer.
@@eyes1111 not to be rude, but if you can’t identify even a single A+ setup opportunity with a 1:2 RR in an entire month from the assets you are monitoring, it might be that your edge or price action tape-reading skills are not yet fully developed.
@@abidrockx😂😂😂very funny. There's no shortcut to success.
This video is great, but it reminded me how much deeper Guarded Laws of Money Manifestation goes into these topics.
What you say about reasonable profits is truly accurate. This can be understood from prop firms that require you to make consistent profits for two consecutive months with percentages below 10%. They’re willing to provide, for example, $200K for you to trade. We all know that these businesses are fundamentally designed so that you fail the challenge and keep paying again to participate. If making 20-30% per month was that easy, all of these firms would have gone bankrupt.
I'm not good at English but I'll try my best.
2 years ago January 1st 2022 I opened a Forex account at a local broker and deposited 300 USD. Within 3 months I blew the account. I went back to the demo trade for 1 month and deposited 300 again. 10 months later my account is at 2k. Guess what I blew it again because I thought my strategy was too boring and I needed to learn more(how stupid i was) at that time I didn't know anything (psychology stuff, risk reward ratio, win rate) all i knew was head and shoulder pattern and buy at demand and sell at supply. Now 2024 I'm still failing at the funded challenge account even tho I have all the knowledge I didn't have 2yrs ago. I think that in trading the less you know the better you are. If you can make 20 dollars a month consistently. You can make 200 or 2K or 20k if you can scale up and know what you are doing.
I've been trying to find a place where I can trade a challenge. But it seem like these places are a scam.
In my opinion, the reason is traders are not applying fundamental analysis. Fundamentals are more than just going to forex factory and trading better or worse than expected...
People don't know how monetary policy or risk sentiment affect forex, and they don't seem to care.
Are you consistently profitable over 6-12 months?
There is no one way of trading what's ok for one might be toxic for another. There are traders who don't give a f...k about fundamental and still are profitable and consistent.
Fundamentals are just another style of trading , there is no one way of trading
@@johnbeard653 Yes, l have been profitable for 8 months now.
@olanz012 Like l said, "In my opinion," l am simply speaking my mind, and l think the issue. I am not here to convince anyone to do anything with their hard earned money.
To be successful in this business, u need patient, take away greed and follow the trend 👍
hahaha that "I think i'm gonna figuring out trading within 6 months" hits me hard lol. I also said that thinking I can outsmart the market being a programmer. Look, here I am now, in my 5th year of my trading journey and the profit that I long desired is just starting after learning the fundamentals this year 2024.
nick is right. 5% is actually a lot. no banks gave you that much. even some goverment investment can only gave u annually 5%.
That swimming trunk example was funny 😂
'Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked'
Merry Christmas, Nick! Once again you are saying facts. Have a nice holiday!
Thos video hit home when he said if 2% per is $20 and you complain.... yup you dont even deserve to trade!
I remember when i felt like a KING when i was making $50 bucks a week.
Saving it and with a job withing a few years $50 bucks turns into a down-payment for a home 😂
Great video, Nick. I completely agree.
Most newer traders, and even those who have been in the market for years, tend to have a mindset focused on a predetermined profit target, while neglecting to set a predetermined amount they are willing to lose.
It should be the opposite, for the most part. Enter the markets with a calculated, predetermined risk based on data before making a decision, and let the market pay you.
because THEY are TRADING ON LOWER TIMEFRAME.
Yeah...but I've seen newbie traders do 33% IN A MORNING...I think you have too...also those voices in your head can seriously mess things up
Then they give back 100% in the afternoon
I agree, patience and understanding is key. I did 2 years of paper trading ( changed the initial amount to what I would actually deposit).
My mother in law felt I was wasting my time since I wasn’t using real money, but I told her I had placed my mind set to treat it like real money.
2-3 years later she has lost 20-30k and is still losing all her retirement money. She does options and keeps aiming for those 300-400% gain.
Me: aim 10-20$ a day with a 3k account (using futures), if there is no opportunity that day I don’t trade, end result 15% per month with regular withdraw from account to capitalize profits into retirement account
Beautifully put man 👏
1000 dollars return in one month 50 dollars is very low nick. I think you need to review your explanation
Thanks for the video Nick. Appreciate your authentic and valuable insight
At a minimum, to become successful in trading you need patience and money. Starting off with no money and no patience is why 90% or more fail.
It’s going to take you way longer than a year to become profitable unless you are paying for professional help which I suggest doing.
I don’t understand why people struggle so much in the markets i made my first investments when I was just 14, and I managed to beat the market with them over the last few years . I feel my autism, adhd and high iq helped a lot though , as I could hyper focus, I don’t get swayed as easily by emotions, I like to use logic and data driven approaches, and I am good at recognizing patterns.
Awesome content that I hope will outshine the majority of unrealistic trading content that’s available. This channel, if taken seriously, can provide you an opportunity to trade for a living IF taken seriously. Appreciate your wisdom Nick. Whenever I get asked trading related questions, I always refer to your channel. 👍🏽
Definetly needed to hear this as trading is something that I love to do but I keep struggling with greed and fomo, something that im trying to overcome in this new year, great video man keep it up
This is the best advice you've given for the year, Nick.
Experienced options and futures traders can easily make 10% a month consistently. Key word… experienced. But nobody should ever be looking at $ or % because the market isn’t consistent and might not give the opportunity all the time. Just follow your process and the money will flow.
I would heavily take the other side of that bet if it existed. Look up Jim Simmons. Arguably one of the best traders of market history. He averaged around 60% per year. He was a mathematical genius that dominated wallstreet, and didn't average 10% per month.
It's very reasonable to listen to you all the time 😎⌚
Wow very inspired. Am also doing computer science and I love trading ❤
Also thank you for this kind of videos, Merry christmas man
It's funny you're being poilitically correct in your videos but, on the other hand, promoting the scammiest broker ever, which is Eightcap LOL. Ridiculous! Merry F*cking Christmas by the way!
Eightcap is well regulated and their team is exceptionally talented. It’s the broker I would use if I could (since they abide by regulations… they don’t accept US clients unfortunately)
@@TraderNick So you're promoting something that is illegal in the US???!! OMG Nick 😱😱😱😱
Agreed I have spent the same amount of time and cost as it would have taken to go to college. Between props and my own money it took about 4 years and about 35k, prop firms specially it took about 8 months for my FIRST pay out and i have made money SOMEWHERE every month since april and im still not full time. Getting there though
I personally think im already profitable, but i'm only having trouble scalling it
I have been with you since you were using white boards😂. You thought me a lot and i appreciate
Those were the days. My childhood bedroom board
@@TraderNick lol i see
Don't worry about the gains and concentrate on the getting better.. my personal experience, I got profitable when I stop worrying about how much I can make.
Demo doesn't work if you don't treat it like it's a real account..
But seriously, don't about the money.. it's comes naturally and a lot when you focus more on being skilled.
3m+ in funded with 7years experience.. been profitable for 2 years.
Nick is actually getting older ...
His clean baby face days are over 😂😂😂
🥲
He does look older but he has those boyish looks so even when he’s middle aged, he will still look young.
Is it good to use Bots?
You mean Algos? Algos are only as good as people that built them. Often people say that the problem with algos is that, they need to be adjusted often. There is german guy Rene Blake or smth like that that runs YT channel where he builts algos/bots and he is genuine and you see how simple these algos should/csn be.
Best advice I have seen so far keep it up bro
I have a pretty good strategy as a scalper. And a good way of understanding the behavior of the market. The issue is. I don't know if I'm using the right broker in which it could offer the right execution.
Some brokers just buy and there is no short selling.
Thank you Nick. You always inspire me to become more better and better in trading..
Thank you Nick for the good content, I learnt much about fundamentals from you and I am experiencing a positive change!🥊🧤
I have tried for 5 years, now thinking of quitting
Have you Been strategy hopping or something. Because I’m sure you saw people with profitable strategies. You just need to commit to a plan, strategy, manage risk and psychology.
If there is nothing on the chart there is nothing to trade wait. Once your plan comes up execute no plan no trade that’s how it goes and you have to stick to that even if you go 2 weeks without a trade. During a loosing streak you have to wait be patient and follow the plan your R.R will recover the loss. I bet if you deposit a 100 you can make 10-20$ on your money but its so small you not more but you just grew your account by 10-20% of your initial deposit.
Trust yourself, if you want to call it quits, do so😊
@@Thlanc3 Honestly strategy hopping is thereason most traders spends too many years b4 becoming profitable, im speaking from my own experience ,i had to really be honest with myself to stck to one strategy b4 i started seeing result .
Strategy hopping is hardly being talked about but it is the greaters delayer of most traders becoming profitable
thank you :)

The REAL Reason Most Traders are Still not Profitable...8kap...
😂 I made over 100% in many trades in many coins. But it stopped now😅. It was the run that was now around the election. But I blow up more on the S&P500 with leverage. 😢 and my shipping investment went to the bottom. So I have sold mutch and starting more funds and slow growing company's. And I will only trade FX for a while whit supply and demand. Thank for many great videos, have a great Christmas and new year
Coach, Sorry to Ask, But My Question is( IS TORI TRADES YOUR SISTER ?) you guys sound the same 😊
let me save you all your time, " The REAL Reason Most Traders are still not profitable is because they are so greedy.
Your Welcome
That's part of it
