Thanks! Yes it's a old school spot I used to go to as a kid. So many different kinds of areas in the boat hole. So yea thanks for watching and Tight lines
Thanks John, old school spot that I used to go with my grandpa as a kid. Has so many different types areas to fish. Thanks for watching and Tight lines
Awesome! Congratulations bro!! You found em! Tina and I were down there Friday and Saturday. We’re still fishing the month long tournament. We upgraded our trout plus some! Weather both days in the morning was horrible then beautiful after lunch both days. Man there were tons of trout!! Today is Sunday last day for the tournament. We are sticking close to home and will be fishing Port O’Connor. Glad to see you do good 👍🏻 Get out there and Show em your Stuff 🤟🏻
I have caught big Croaker off that pier last year. I will have to try that launch area one day, it looks like you headed toward the Base. You could almost have a whole channel on just your nature shots, they are so amazing!!
First time seeing your channel. I like it! Please consider holding your fish with the grips vertical instead of horizontal. In other words, the fish would be hanging below the grip instead of out to the side. The way you do it jacks their jaw. Kinda like the bass fisherman who lips a fish then holds the fish horizontal. Great for pictures, but not so great for the health of the fish. Still, I dig the videos and I'm a new subscriber. bugs
Where exactly is that, if you don’t mind me asking? I stay at the rv park on base. Wasn’t sure if this was right off the base but thought it might be when I saw the fencing
@@WolfsFishing no, i have my faves of those. Often times you share up close the actual hook rig on soft plastics, weedless weighted, weedless unweighted, or straight jighead. So was asking about that and which plastic, looks like a Down South maybe in white ice? I’m thinking of hitting Aransas Pass area for wade-fishing tomorrow if the weather’s conducive.
A lot of guides I follow say not to shove the release fish back and forth, but just make them wag side to side as it is harmful and unnatural to make water flow back through the gills instead on only in through the mouth.
I've been fishing all my life and trust me it's fine. Everyone has their way of doing things. As long as the fish swims off it's a win. Thanks for watching John

Great video!! I have been to Dimmit pier and there were rocks all around that appeared to make launching impossible??
There is 2 small spots just as you come in by the "ditch" area that have been cleared out a little . Thanks for watching Tommy. Tight lines

@@thebeardandthebird7079 it's just outside the south gate at the end of Jester St.
I've been told you make a really good artificial shrimp! How can purchase some to try?
Message me on Fb or Instagram or even email Nvisowolf@gmail.com and we can get you some.
Nice catch but I think that UA-cam drag is a little loose when setting the hook.
Yea I actually need to clean that reel. I bad about not loosening after fishing. Thanks for watching

Thanks Hector, was a really good day. Tight lines
What rigging are you using for your soft plastics in this video?
Sorry John must have missed this question. If your talking about the speed clip I use it's one I found that I like and works for me. amzn.to/42fahNm

Yes it is a downsouth. Not sure the name I typically like the bone color of anything.
@@WolfsFishing thanks, Chris
