hi! as an esthetician with similar skin issues and who has found a great dermatologist in Charlotte NC…some tips? Consider stopping all those masks, u have that adapalene u got so if u just use that and a moisturizer at night (if ur skin tolerates it u can add a mild brightening serum too) then morning vitamic c, some acid to exfoliate depending on how sensitized your skin feels (that adapalene burns in some people) so salycilic acid, glycol, mandalic etc, and sunscreen. U do not need those additional masks and u always mention they burn and its working but thats not true. A product might have some mild tingling but burning is actually causing more inflammation and in black skins it might be why u have the black spots due to hyperpigmentation. Once ur acne is healed (give it few months to let adapalene do its magic), then u can introduce the masks slowly since u like them. If u truly like masks then go for milder calming ones not those ones with actives. The adapalene is your main active here and those acids for exfoliation. When on some type of retinol especially prescription ones (adapalene was prescription only in the US until recently), over doing it is counterproductive. Hope this helps, u doing a great job with the right products just a little tweaking needed. I enjoyed your videos!
