  • In this video we take a look at the two XpertJet printers Mutoh has to offer. The 461UF and the bigger 661UF. I'd suggest getting the 661UF as it has auto height adjustment and can print a full 24x18" yard sign. Mutoh by far had the best samples of all the printers I looked at.

The Kelly-Spicers booth had a 661F setup as well. IMO this is the best of the direct to object printers that were at the show. The bed size is perfect and the auto adjust for the height was great. Wish they had had one set up with the rotary attachment. Printer is a little on the slower side, but for the price I think you can’t beat it.

Yeah, they're all kind of slow, but for all the things it can do I think it can pay for itself pretty quick.

Love these videos, I am looking at flatbeds, having trouble finding roi compared to my laser

There can always be the right roi if you have the right products. I don't think that the UV will be as good as lasers, but I think they go really well together.

Our non-profit has a ExpertJet 661UF that was donated. It was damaged in a fire, but appears to be in good working condition except it needs replacement covers for the front and two sides. Although the fire was not close to the printer, the heat warped the covers rather badly. I've been trying to get some sort of response out of Mutoh to purchase replacement covers, but they seem to be ignoring me. Any ideas how to get replacement parts? I'm glad we didn't lay out $30K and then be treated this way.

I'd be surprised if those parts are even available. I'd contact a dealer, mutoh doesn't usually sell or support directly.

Is there a printer to allow you to print on soccer balls? I know you can do Golf Balls.

I’m looking for a printer to print on leather and canvas to make goods that will be sewn after printing. What printer did you see that would be good for that.
    Great video. Thank you.

You'd probably better off with a roll printer that can do it. I know the HP latex can print on some synthetic leather. It also depends on what sizes you're doing.

I've been gifted a free Canon ipf8300, 44" wide format printer. Starting from that machine, who should I sell to and what should I sell? No other equipment. Fine art prints to photographers? Architectural drawings?

I'd start with canvas and paper prints.

Thank you for answering ! I am about to make the purchase of either Mutoh 461uf - or Mimaki ujf 3042. You seem like a professional. Can you tell me your suggestion ? @@ttms

@oliviajohnson9062 I actually got the logojet. But of mutoh or mimaki, I'd go mimaki. Go talked with PDS equipment and tell them I sent you. You won't be disappointed.

@ttms you ended up with LogoJet. I assume you liked that one over the Mutoh and Mimaki
