My two X- frame revolvers are bead blast finished. A 460V five inch muzzle brake equipped full lug barrel. And a 500 S&W magnum with a six and one-half inch semi-lug ported barrel.
The first firearm that I bought/fired was a .44 Desert Eagle then a .50AE DE that I still own. The second firearm I JUST bought is a Performance Center SW .460XVR
It makes sense to me - they do guide-rod lasers for 1911's, I'd wager someone could have done that with the giant bolt for the tuning weights on one of these.
As a shooter - the Competitor, as a collector, the Anaconda. The 629 was the 2nd gun I ever bought - it's been with me for at least 15 or so years now and it's been a fantastic and accurate shooter. If Hogue ever made a tamer grip for the Anaconda, I'd probably shoot it a lot more than I currently do. That was a great, and honestly tough question to answer.

They are 1,829 on S&W so they’ve definitely appreciated.
Love it.
I always thought that the bore for the weights would make a good place for an integrated laser or light.

I own a model 329PD I have totally customized to my liking. Quad-ported and 500 S&W Magnum Hogue recoil absorbing grip installed for starters.
Hey Sean! Hope you been well man
If you could choose only one - would it be the competitor or the new colt anaconda?
