This is what I am going for yall so wish me luck. I was a waver for far too long and I need a change. I have very healthy hair (to my knowledge and what other barbers tell me) and I grow VERY fast. I Should be at the length I need in 2-3 months. I am already at an inch and some of the growth.

I have natural hair but it’s long...do you think big twist like that will still look good on longer hair and do you have to use the products you use or no?
Williams Farve it looks good with longer hair and hair at around this length and no you don’t what i do is i detangle my hair with my leave in conditioner in so it makes it easier to detangle and twist it with eco styled black castor oil gel and before twisting it with the gel, while ur detangling or after you can put in olive oil or an oil of your choice and then twist with the gel and the leave in conditioner i use is shea moisture’s black castor oil leave in

Do you dry his hair first? I try to do this after freshly washed hair and the twists always look thin and straggly

Just recently began growing my hair out since ive always had short hair, therefore i know very little about twists and braids etc. What are the those pieces thats hangning from the end of his twists and what are they there for? I would assume its to get the twists to lay down so to speak but yea would appreciate it if someone could explain briefly

It took him years to grow his hair and he didn’t really use product

Thywill Ogunfowora it defends on your hair texture. He has naturally thick hair, so it will not untwist. If you have naturally curly hair, wrapping your ends around the hair pins will keep it tight at the ends

mz Tremias shea butter is good for your hair and gives great shine but if he wanted to do a twist out, it doesn't have that hold
