I braid and twist my grandsons hair and they have a whole lot of hair! Who would have thought that boys would be spends the same time and energy on hair as girls?😂
Its gonna be hard but I think so not totally sure cause when you do it it will work but the ends will start to unravel and you can’t fingercoil it cause its straight so everytime you do the two strand twist twist the hair before actually doing it to confuse the hair and make sure it doesn’t unravel
She liked it but didn’t reply lmfao I gotcha girl It depends on how much hair they got & how big they want the twist so keep in mind when u put the locking gel in & start twisting it’s gonna cause shrinkage so don’t do them too big but start from the back & do even rows front to back & it’ll tell u how many rows as long as u keep it even
The blow drying is a process that allows the coils to be stretched out. Usually people blow dry and comb out the hair at the same time to get the curls more relaxed. Without that step the hair wouldn’t look as sleek or be as malleable as you saw it.
Hey! My mum tried doing this hair on me but it kept unravelling once she put the hair tie in it. I’m an Asian Filipino with curly hair does she need to do anything different to my hair or can she even do it at all?
Really the products you use to lock it in is important too, maybe look for a loc gel or setting foam that will keep the twist in, use clips at the end Til it dries.
I know this is a late reply but does she blow dry the hair before starting? I'd try the braiding the hair and then transitioning into the twists. After braiding, split the braid into two equal parts of hair. Twist both equal parts the the RIGHT. And then take the right side and twist it OVER LEFT.
Do you think this would work on straight hair. I’ve got pretty long straight but thick hair and I’m trying to get some braids these holidays. Do you reckon I could get similar twisted braids to these
Thanks again for showing steps to two strand twist on High Top. The blow drying made it easier as you said. After showing my son he decided to let me Hook Him Up!! 😂 😂 It came out real nice. Thanks again

So r u spraying water and using setting wrap lotion?
My son wants these so bad
Are these good for start out locs ?
Did you dip the ends
I have really straight hair and I was thinking will I be able to get two strand twists or it won’t go well with straight hair?
Just put rubber bands on the end
you could do the rubber bands as suggested or try to use lock gel
Ayeee! You in Houston? We need you in our sons hair lol fr !
Thank you
If you used only those 3 ingredients and your smoothie was that green I'm confused. What else did you put in it?
How long do you keep the clips in ?
My bf has the same cut n curly hair I can't braid
TY
He did a good job but you weren't sharing what products you were using as you were going along
How long has he been growing his hair ?
nice!
Ouuuuuu😍🔥
Can do this with straight hair ?
Its gonna be hard but I think so not totally sure cause when you do it it will work but the ends will start to unravel and you can’t fingercoil it cause its straight so everytime you do the two strand twist twist the hair before actually doing it to confuse the hair and make sure it doesn’t unravel
How do u end it up?? U just turn it and left it?? Doesn't it go away if he sleeps or something?? How does it stick?
yes he sits under the dryer and puts his durag on at night and it stays
I have 3 sisters and they act like they don’t know how to do hair...
😂 send them this video
@@Tajiashamari I definitely will, you did great
Lucky to have a sis like u
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
I want this 😅
so do you blow dry out the hair before you start doing anything?
So do you twist each strand individually and then twist together?
Yes
The brush blow dryer does it stretch to the max
Yea
So you braid a couple times first then twist ??
Yes
How do u know how many rows to do ? Idk if that make sense lol I have a hard time with that
She liked it but didn’t reply lmfao I gotcha girl It depends on how much hair they got & how big they want the twist so keep in mind when u put the locking gel in & start twisting it’s gonna cause shrinkage so don’t do them too big but start from the back & do even rows front to back & it’ll tell u how many rows as long as u keep it even
Thanks for answering !
Why blow dry it just to wet it again? Does the water effect the length?
It’s so it has moisture and doesn’t look dry
The blow drying is a process that allows the coils to be stretched out. Usually people blow dry and comb out the hair at the same time to get the curls more relaxed. Without that step the hair wouldn’t look as sleek or be as malleable as you saw it.

rubber bands covered in hair oil at the ends
❤️❤️❤️
How long did it take
Why music in the background ? Like I’m trying to hear what are you saying
What product do you use?
So do u cut tha front of the hairline down like that in the front or it’s a certain way u part it to keep tha hairline visible?
It was cut that way
Do you think this would work on straight hair. I’ve got pretty long straight but thick hair and I’m trying to get some braids these holidays. Do you reckon I could get similar twisted braids to these
imo it doesn’t look good on straight hair because it’s meant for afro texture hair
Nice 😊 He should have turned to back
Thanks again for showing steps to two strand twist on High Top. The blow drying made it easier as you said. After showing my son he decided to let me Hook Him Up!! 😂 😂 It came out real nice. Thanks again
Will the braids work for white boys as well
What were the products?? Where are you located??
👌
Wats the name of the clips
@Tajiashamari what is the white creamy looking product you used on his ends to make them curl up?
It looks like hair mousse
What does she keep putting in??
