I like that quote about “dogs and pigs”. I’m glad you had the opportunity to visit the VIP lounge and have yourself a real meal, along with some wine. As you mentioned, you did not want to get spoiled because you’ll be going back to the poor man’s food. At least you had one last opportunity of the “High Life” here in the lounge. I must assume that it’s a real pleasure for yourself to get a break like this every now and then. Then again, you deserve it! Thanks for sharing!

@@KenWiggerAnotherAncientGamer For many years, one was able to get into the Delta Airlines Lounges if they were a Gold American Express card holder, and were flying 1st class. Now, you must have a Platinum Card, which has a $700 annual card fee. I don’t think so! They can shove it!
@@randydergantz When I was working and traveling a lot. I was upgraded to First Class a lot and was able to enjoy nice VIP lounges at airports. I even got a free First Class ticket anywhere in the world from TWA that I used to fly to Switzerland for a nice personal vacation. I haven't flown in years and don't even know if you still get free upgrades, free flights, and VIP lounges when you fly frequently. I met the most interesting people in First Class. I set next to Joe Garagiola on a flight to St. Louis and he talked to me about growing up playing baseball with Yogi Berra in the Italian-American neighborhood in the south part of the city known as The Hill. It was a great experience! He was very nice to me. It was magic for a baseball fan like me.

VIP lounge in airport is awesome,i remember i had lounge with Finnair last year on June,when i went to Thailand.
It was really awesome lounge in Helsinki airport better than in Copenhagen with SAS that i had this year going to Norway.Macau lounge was real luck for you Michele,glad you enjoyed so much!Lounge is a must for every travel it relaxes the mind.In fact,disturbing peace is way too expensive in life.
Nice, Am one of those sad people eating and drinking in airport lounges even when I know meal on board is included. Quality varies so much between them in different locations, but looks like Macau is not bad. Dropping the fish ball and getting messy. My trick too. See you back in Hanoi.

And yes, lounges do allow you take flights in a much better mood!
