what if i told you that singlurarity overclock allows you to run forward in straight line on every teleport? I feel like if there is window or pallet nearby, the chase power feels nearly useless. It only works if survivor is in a deadzone.

I think it's update made Hux very strong, but the more important aspect, it actually made Hux playable. Prior to the update, every single time I played Singularity I wanted to throw my monitor at the wall because it was just so frustrating and powerless. Now it feels like I can actually play a game with a power that is streamlined and effective. (I think a large part of this is due to the EMP rework where they don't just infinitely generate with 0 input anymore and survivors actually have to go out of their way to print them now).
Exactly EMP rework has created passive slowdown that forces the survivors to choose between moment to moment action, even now you have one survivor on the team specifically dedicated to picking them up. There’s no guarantee they’ll be able to save their buddy in time.
Which is bullshit. Because you can't do anything even with emps. You just die 3 seconds later. Disable one camera he puts three more so he is just uncounterable and unstoppable. Especially how he can spam 5 cameras nearby while you try to loop him and he will certainly shoot you and then well have fun dying because he has infinite teleport and overclock so yeah very unbalanced have fun dying

Just wanted to point out your perspective of carrying Yui with her tails versus mine As singularity you only see like one tail on your screen and it's very manageable But at least as Chucky, 40% of the screen is taken by her tails, and then like 20-30% is Chucky himself. As Chucky carrying the new skin is horrendous

I dont think so, its quality of life changes besides the anti camp hindered, but theres the anti camp mechanic now so no need to hinder singularity like a slug same way they changed the twins
He was hard plus it was annoying how your hard work gets erased by survivors pressing one button. He's fun but I understand the frustration from getting ur progress erased by survivors just pressing one button. That's why I think he's rarely used.

i feel like the existence of emps, with how big their range is how often they come back, and how you can just run around holding charge, it's like, how are the things not constantly disabled? Feels like swf can make this killer useless
Because you can have like 4 emps max against infinite cameras. You literally cant disable the cameras or stop him from teleporting to you. In chase he will spam 100 cameras until he hits you with them and then you will die. Emps are not powerful and if we have to waste all of our time printing them we will never finish the objective so very unbalanced.
Can’t wait to buy him, been grinding for him for ages and I finally almost have enough I have 8679. The reason I want him so bad is because of his powers I love how it actually requires some skill.
Ive always been watching cocolatte and loved his singularity and i also tried him out a few times and it was very close games and i eventually drawed and lost a few times back then but because ur so engaged in the match with the cams i still had a lot of fun. Now i tried him again and he feels so much better to play, like it actually feels like ur getting something for your whole brain power being sucked into the killer
I think they are balanced changes. If you want a crazy build on him use “Franklins demise, weave attunement, deadlock, and friends til the end. Being able to know where survivors are at with the aura reading makes him really good.
As much as im prolly gonna get flak, but i think singularity is balanced( somewhat) he is really oppresive, but he takes a lot of map knowledge and routing, i would say he is harder than nurse to play at an effective level ngl but he is rewarding as hell if you know what your doing (im a "long" time song main
As somebody who has been maining Larry since he came out I adore this update. I think my kill rate has been consistent, but he feels so much nicer to play those friction points that used to make me wanna shoot myself in the foot sometimes are no more and now I can have fun playing him. I’m glad they took away some of the things that make him less strong so he’s not OP and also now I feel like I don’t have to run Denied Requisition Form and Soma Family Photo to do well as him I can actually experiment with more fun builds.

Recently got back into the game after a long break good to hear 1 of my favourite little goobers is good!!! Now to build up the courage to actually play killer so many new perks I’m scared to get decimated lol
I honestly think Hux is maybe a bit too strong. If they ever wanted to nerf it a bit, they could make it so that its biopods don’t cycle (oldest one destroyed when putting more than 10) and instead you have to manually destroy one to get it back. Would make bad pod placement more punishing.
Nah, this would nerf him way too much and/or make his power too annoying to use. There are some maps and places where you can barely place a pod in a tree, but then the pod becomes unhitable , and would be stuck there for 10 pod cycles. To prevent this from happening, this new feature is a good tool for these scenarios. I think Hux is in a near perfect state right now. He isnt overpowered nor underpowered. But some things are just annoying, for both sides. With all his new changes, I noticed that the EMP crates are way closer to anything survivor related. Crates used to be like 10meters or more away from generators or hooks, making the addon that decreases the aura read range sometimes very effective. Now, they mainly spawn directly next to gens or hooks. Maybe the devs did this on purpose, to save time walking to them, cuz you still have to press the last 3%. It feels like survivors have way more EMPS than before, and can use them faster than before with more range. Also, finishing the process on the crate doesnt force u to pick up the EMP anymore, which is a survivor buff too. All in one, Singus chase power was nerfed by a good amount (-2% movespeed, cant extend overlock mode anymore) , but to compensate, everything else was buffed, which is okay. He doesnt feel frustrating to play anymore.
I'm not afraid to say i love the kitsune skin, even though it is as far from horror aesthetic as possible. Also love Singularity gameplay, the meatball is fun to play, but so goddamn taxing on both my poor brain and my poor, carpal-tunnel prone wrist...

I think Singularity is pretty okay these days. Strong as a Killer who has eyes all over the map should be, with an emp counterplay that works. I would like him to be a little stronger, so some of the matches I lost could have been better, but I don't even like to imagine what the ones I crushed the survivors would have been like, so I think he's okay. And the add-ons are very diverse and interesting.
Yeah the only thing that is a major upgrade is the hindered you get when ur in your cams next to a hook being much less, which isnt op either since there is anti camp mechanic, most singularities go on cams after a hook to look for their next target not to camp so its definetly a very good change
Not hard to play? I think he is one of the hardest killer to play. With his new changes, he feels extremely smooth and way easier, but in the end, singu still is a M1 killer that is countered by pallet dense maps, strong windows and indoor maps. If you're against a good swf group, it will be hard challenge to get a 4k.
Definitely think he’s gonna op against non swfs because the amount of coordination to counter him in chase is too much for solo que to execute. Example is that emps are harder to get so that means his map surveillance is much greater than before and people are gooped Much more and much longer. This means he has quicker chases and with bam and some skill u probably get downs pretty easy in overclock. This so if the team even knows how to counter him in the first place. If you apply the right pressure in the right places he’s impossible to counter and if yo Uber a 3 gen say gg. Slugging hatch and solo exit gates scenarios are a gf cus of his cameras. The amount of perk synergies he can use are insane imo. The biggest thing is to maybe allow emps to be used twice. Where one can be used to get the goop off and a camera and another can be used to get just the goop off, or vice versa. One emp use can be used for goop and cameras and one is only for the camera. I think the latter is better because it’s better for survivors to shut down his eyes across the map and actually get gems done in peace and not get hit and ran so hard because that is extremely strong on this killer just liek onryo (my main) but the difference between him and onryo is he has phenomenal chase capabilities and actual eyes across the map. Hit and run is strong on him especially with any kind of haste build and the denial of emps for survivors is really killing the solo que experience. He’s probably the same in experianced swf games becaus even though it’s harder to get an emp good swfs know how to adjust their tiem managment so that they can help each other in chase etc.
Wow nice someone actually noticed it is unbalanced and painful. Last night I literally played against him and felt like hitting my head into a wall. Only one generator got repaired because I managed to somehow keep him on me for 30 seconds because he missed 2 times a hit. Literally infinite teleport. Emp is useless he spams cameras until he gets you streamslipped and nothing can be done except run since pallets don’t work either. Also he counters THE ONLY FREE ANTI TUNNEL PERK which is dead hard so have fun being tunneled.

You should try out the brown add on that increases the range of pods by 4 meters. It's crazy good. Turns you into a sniper
