You're listening to my cardboard double strung harp, which I made from a kit by Dennis Waring. It has two rows of 19 strings with a special request for the lowest string pitch to be bass F instead of G. You'll hear several instances of the bass F in both solos. 0:00 "Labyrinth" is an original composition in A minor. The hands steadily weave to create a mesmerizing maze of sound. Many of of the video clips are from a visit to The Tangled Garden in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia. 1:20 "Shenandoah" is a beautiful traditional melody full of expression and longing. In this early intermediate arrangement, the hands weave effortlessly to create a steady flow of movement. This piece uses the entire range of my little 19x2 double strung harp. musicdiscoveries.shop/products/labyrinth-shenandoah-double-strung-harp If your small double strung doesn't include the bass F, simply move those left hand patterns up an octave. In this video I am playing a 19x2 double strung Waring cardboard harp. Learn more here: waringmusic.com/

Thank you so much ❤️ Won’t be long and the lake will be frozen ❄️❄️❄️
I can't get over how beautiful that little harp sounds. You found such an enchanted place for this stunning video.
Just a few more weeks and the fall colours will be here!
Soooo lovely and soothing Anne💖💖💖! All the best😙
Loving her low notes still ❤
The C Major tuning doesn’t show off the low pitches quite as much, but I still got some of those bass F, G and A patterns in the arrangements.
So beautiful Anne and your original compositions are always my very favorite pieces. I'm playing Harvest Moon this month and just love it.
Thank you, Shannon! Oh, I forgot about Harvest Moon! And the Harvest Moon is on Friday!
Anne, do you think there is any way you could, or would, do an arrangement of "Labyrinth" for a single string harp? I'm completely enchanted with it.🥰
Thank you! I think it would have to involve some harmonics 😉✨
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic, then I had better hurry and master them, because I like “Labyrinth” just that much.😆❤️
Me too ! I am enchanted with this beautiful piece ❤ I would love a version for my small harp.

Your new harp has such a sweet and pure voice! Again making me want to play a double strung.
Time to get it out again?
Beautiful! 🎶 Curious, when sitting in a chair, is it difficult to hold that size of harp?
Beautiful! Waring Harps sound so good. Do you still have red strings as well? Hard to see on the video. (The reflection in the water is lovely, too!)
Hi Jill! Oh yes, red and blue strings as usual!
