That was beauty personifiesd...the sunlight streaming through the trees, the gently flowing water and beautiful Anne making her beautiful music that never fails to touch my heart. Lovely!
Absolutely lovely, Anne! I know Sunlight Through the Trees and can’t wait to learn the other two pieces. You show that you don’t need a lot of strings to make beautiful music. Thank you very much for including arrangements for smaller harps!

My favorite two grab and go harps are my Blevinsong Therapy 20 and Ardival Rosemarkie medieval harp. It’s wonderful to have lightweight, small harps you can take easily on a walk or outing!
Dear Anne, thats funny. I just found your upload of this video with 3 pieces for small harp and simultaneously i uploaded your Arran Boat Song Version for small harp...what a nice coincidence...thank you for all the harp joy :o)))
Anne, I always love your videos and musical arrangements and your harps. ❤️ I love my Marini Bass lap harp and it is now my primary harp therapy and music-thanantogy bedside harp. It's rich mellow tones have been wonderful as well as its size and weight. I did get the base stand for it which has worked out wonderfully. I have a CLAX cart that it all fits on. I am really interested in this little.cardboard harp. Thank you for this lovely video. For those of us Pershing for rain, lower temperatures and flowing water thank you so much for your creekside videos, they are so refreshing. 🥰 Deborah in San Antonio, TX.
I would have loved using my Marini bass for harp therapy visits! When I was playing in a LTC facility I had my Triplett Christina. It would have been lovely to have those bass strings! The cardboard harp is just so easy to take anywhere...not the same tone as the Marini of course, but each has its own special qualities.
I just bought one of these from Dennis! I was so worried I couldn't play any songs but this is magical. I am traveling abroad and don't want to carry my 26 Lorien harp- this little harp is so sweet. Mine is maroon and gold. Thank you!! I don't read sheet music yet and would love to somehow learn this from you.
All sound so calming that I nearly took a nap! If I had to choose just one favorite… I couldn’t! I need to try Sunlight and Sparrow on my double strung. Beautiful video, Anne 💕
Beautiful and inspiring! Thank you Anne. I shall play some of your pieces on my 20 string Derwent Adventurer harp by the lake and forest when we go to visit family in Sweden soon. The harp is out there waiting for me… 😊💕🎶
Always lovely to listen to you play. I enjoy playing Sparrow though usually play it slower than you did here. It sounds gorgeous at this speed too! Such a perfect setting for it with the babbling water.
Thank you so much Anne it's a wonderful video I love the sound of that little river or creek or brook . My smallest harp is a 26th string Dusty but if I take the legs off, it doesn't weigh hardly anything so I'm pretty sure I could carry that around with me in the woods if I wanted to. I am just about to move and I've downloaded the Arran Boat song and I already had the sunlight through the trees song and now I'm going to have to wait weeks to be able to start to learn so I'm going to play this video to myself over and over to give myself motivation and to give myself some peace, a very beautiful peaceful Musical gift you have put out today. Enjoy your 10 days of rest and relaxation.
It’s freezing cold at night here at the moment. Listen to your songs and seeing the beautiful summer forest warms my heart ❤️ I always wanted to get a Stoney End 26 string Evenstar as a travel harp 😊
It’s surprising isn’t it? I did record the audio inside with a decent microphone, but no other special audio magic. When played gently that’s really how the little Waring harp sounds.
Just lovely! 🎶, Thank you for arranging these songs for a small harp. My small harp is a 24 string that I bought used. Playing it sometimes as been a challenge or very limited in it’s range. I appreciate that you have arranged these songs for the small harp. Thank you.
Very beautiful. My favorit small harp is the one you can see in my profile pic. It was built by Alexander Tremer in Gernany. It weights only 4kg but has 34 strings. The Luna harp sounds like a big one. I love her🥰
Anne, that was just magical - the setting and the music. Wonderful that you are taking some time out for yourself, but thank you for sharing a beautiful piece of it with us. You really have inspired me to practice again. I have a cute little 19-string harp from Pakistan with inlay and carving. I think your little cardboard one sounds sweeter. I also have a 36-string Paraguayan, with a glorious sound. I love them both.
I love your music but as a beginner these would be too difficult. Could you compose a simpler version of the music? I have a 19 string harp. Thank you!
I have a harp like this and have had a hard time finding beginner tunes to learn on my own. Does anyone have any good recommendations? All of these songs were beautiful, but not really for a beginner :)
So beautiful. Anne I don’t have a small harp. My smallest is a 26 R Dusty S. So I went to the lyre instead but I think I would love to give one a try. Was it difficult to build. If it dos t work. I’m sure my granddaughter would love it. Loved the video with the Brook definitely much better with you and harp. As always live your music. Big Hugs
Hi Anne! I love all three pieces in this video, especially the "Arran Boat Song." I got a very "Lord of the Rings" vibe! I want to learn that one very much, but first I want to finish all of the watercolors and "Litha." Unrelated note--do you walk barefoot outside often? I do! It's actually a real practice called "earthing." The earth has its own natural charge. When the soles of your feet touch the earth, the earth's electrons influence the electrons in your brain and body, and scientific studies have shown that this can reduce stress and improve immune function, among many other things. :)
I would happily walk barefoot in a field of clover ☘️ ☘️☘️ but otherwise every footstep is owie owie owie 🤣 I think you’ll love playing Arran Boat Song when you are ready for something new!
Beautiful location. And beautiful pieces. How do you memorize these pieces? I, too, have a Waring harp and I look for pieces that can be played on it. But now that I have bought a 29-string harp, I'm not sure how much I will continue to play the 19-string.
I don't play my cardboard harp often, but even once in a while I get it out and delight in its sweet sound. I try to place harps in my house where I'm likely to pick them up and play them. For example, I keep my Marini next to the couch and I frequently pick it up a play some tunes.
Could you tell me, please, if I have 19 string harp, but from F to C (while your harp is from G to D according to the photo), will I be able to play these tunes?
In this video I'm playing pieces that fit 19 strings, the lowest note is G below Middle C. These are intermediate level pieces. As a beginner, have a look at my elementary level pieces: musicdiscoveries.shop/collections/level-2-mid-elementary-harp
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic I bought it from "Fireside Harps". I build it together with my husband. It has a nice beautiful swing like a celtic harp. It has a very beautiful sound. Watch here: ua-cam.com/video/v_YJ0o-8VQQ/v-deo.html
Love getting new tunes for my Waring harp!
Yay, I’m sure you’re little Waring will be happy too!
What a HAPPY sound the cardboard harp produces. Its very joyful.❤👏🏾🎶❤

So uplifting and calming at the same time! Thanks Anne for all that you do for us harpers in the world. Your inspiration keeps me going.

Lovey playing and a beautiful video, really brightened up a cold wet Orkney morning...thanks.
I walked that path today bundled up in my winter coat 🤣
Amazing sound and ringtone and you play wonderfully.

I love how you combined these lovely pieces into this gorgeous & tranquil video. You are the picture & sound of peace… 🌿💦🌞

Yes, the original Bb Major setting of The Sparrow just might like a slower tempo than the G Major.
Gorgeous setting, and beautiful music-all fun to play. I only have my Ceili, but I do think about getting a small “grab and go” harp. 💕😎
Your Ceili is amazing, but it sure is fun to have a wee harp too!
Thank you for sharing these small harp pieces! I love my little Waring harp. Can't wait to learn these!
