This is a classic sailboat that is ready to go! Zephyr is a 1961 Sparkman & Stephens designed Gulfstream 36, built right here in East Boothbay, Maine. She is NOT a fixer-upper - she is ready to sail and take you anywhere. We've seen some beautiful boats over the years but this one might just take the cake. She has classic lines, beautiful sheer, and the kind of looks that can break your heart. When you see her for the first time, it makes you realize that, at one time, boat design was as much art as it was science. Even still, this 1961 Gulfstream 36 boat will get up and hustle. She is a rare find and could be yours for $37,000 - essentially $20,000 below her appraised value. Her indoor storage is paid through the winter, so all you'd have to do is paint her bottom, launch her, and take Canadian Ken and me for a sail this summer...(kidding. Sort of.)

Thoughtful and accurate asking price. Good on the owners for taking the time and assessing the market and setting a realistic price. I see so many beautiful wooden boats sit on the market for years and languish into disrepair because the owners have the boat priced way above market value. I hope the boats sells in a reasonable time and goes to someone who will take care of it. Good luck!

WOW! That's a beautiful boat ... and i can't believe the space in the lockers and lazarette. All of the modern updates on that boat really makes it tempting (refrigeration, electric windlass, and the instrumentation mount on the hatch boards)!!! If i could just get over my wooden boat worries!!!

Explain to a mediocre human being how this young couple can afford this boat renovation and storage, a house renovation, two daughters and so on?. My first boat was a M15, garaged, my second a sunfish garaged too and the last one a CD Typhoon and I believe to have a good decent job. Anyway, I hope them the best
They have been around boats their entire lives, and he go a great deal on this one. And the owners had the skill set to a lot of the work themselves, which is hugely helpful. But, I get it! I can't imagine the time and effort!
The S&S, Derektor built, Gulfstream 30 is the MOST beautiful Gulfstream. Just sayin.
