The only reason it’s so difficult is the fact he’s a big UA-camr and anyone could see what he’s up too most cities u can get the process and everything up in under a year if I was him I would just give updates and not show everything u do until it’s solidified
It’s so generous of you to pay those guys to stand around and be your audience.
Only 2 are classified workers the others are just cast members to this UA-cam production because most bosses would lose their mind. At times you will see guest appearance from Mike and Nate, so on and so on! Just treat this as a reality show and you'll understand how all the dumbest things that happen normally wouldn't if the "cast" had some common sense and motivation.

Everytime, it never fails, my mind is in work mode during the video, and then if grace makes an appearance, i just melt, the expression on my face changes to a smile, and reminds me of why we get up everyday and earn a living. Kids. Our offspring. Soo precious.

Then Ryan, I really wish you would listen to us who are actual builders. I posted four different comments telling you do not start that project until you get that permit or this is exactly what will happen. You’re extremely lucky. They didn’t just pull the permit and cancel the project altogether.
Your comment is spot on! As a retired contractor I have also see the city/county force you to remove everything because of no permit!
He should've learned as soon as they told him about not having Occupancy yet when he had moved all the stuff and added onto his shed. He is lucky they didn't have him take that down and move until he had it. According to his Facebook he got the red notice to stop building.
In his last video when he said in hindsight he would have still started anyway with the fine...If the city is watching these which I'm sure they are they wouldnt be happy with his approach to things...
He will make more off the ad revenue from the videos he posted of the work than the fine is.

His cavalier attitude about the fines and still would’ve done it will bite him if he doesn’t change his attitude. He’s a Godly man but even God said to respect the authorities.

Somehow we’re okay with almost half of what we make being stolen from us every year. I don’t know what it will take for all of us Americans to stand up to this tyranny.
People wonder why costs for construction type items are so high. Its because of overregulation.
Overregulation is defined as white collar crime by means of government theft.
Governments/councils try to put all costs on developers to the point that its really not worth their hassle. And they wonder why new housing is not economical to built.

If you turn the key on the skid loader but don't turn it all the way on and wiggle the sticks. It will let all the excess pressure off and the hydrolic hoses will be EASY!! to put on

I recommend getting your drinks in bulkf from Costco. Those gas station trips in the morning add up. I know you probably don’t care cause you make that EASY MONEY, but you’ll have waters and other drinks for the guys at the yard ready. I also suggest you try liquid iv they sell them in packs at costco too. Look into getting a ice machine for your yard 👍🏽

Man your building department is pretty detailed. Worked for a company that laid off 2000 employees because of the building department. The jobs never came back and the city ended up have to pay for demo and clean up. Its population dropped by 16k and other companies left never to return. Now the only jobs are in education and health. An the building department is just one engineer and front desk lady

Because he started building before he had the legal right to do so. Then he posts it on UA-cam, like it’s not a big deal. Red tape is designed for big egos like his.
@@Des420 The fire, water, and sewer "impact fees" were completely unexpected and have nothing to do with the additional fines for setting his forms early (his daily fricking job detail) that is no where near "structure".

@@Boja23 Impact fees are something almost every City in the US has (feel free to google Ryan's city impact fees, it pops right up and lists each one and their cost). These are not (or shouldn't be) "completely unexpected". Ryan should fire his Civil Engineer. I work in engineering and permitting is one of the first things to be discussed and planned.

OSHA doesn’t go after companies with less than 100 employees. They’re essentially exempt from lots of osha regulations.

Those are actually fairly low impact fees. I've seen them in the $20,000 range for houses and hundreds of thousands for commercial/industrial jobs (large builds of course).
$8,000 is very reasonable. Those fees go into a fund to develop infrastructure - they are assessed to new builds as those create additional demand on the system. Basically you're paying it forward for future improvements, which past impact fees enabled your connections today.
In some Maryland Counties, the Impact fees for a building that size would be about $56,000. For a simple residential house they are about $22,000. Also I would bet good money that those fees are published and easily available.
@@beckerkp Sometimes they are posted, based on building size ranges and types of use. Not 100% perfect calculation until the fees are assessed but impacts should not come as a surprise to anyone connecting to a utility network.

Cat bites in particular are often extremely serious in terms of infection. If not attended to immediately, people can have to be hospitalized for IV antibiotics. They absolutely did the right thing going in. Annie didn't intend to bite Daniel, just when the door got closed on her tail, the shock and pain led to this natural reaction. I hope Daniel heals quickly and Annie's tail is all right.
