    Great video! You covered everything that I could possibly ask for. I was looking for a video that covered the media mod, and the road wireless microphone attached to it. I’m sold!

    Thanks for the video. watched several videos. I have phone gimbals, so it will be easier. Just ordered today the Go Pro 11(From Calgary, Alberta, because I don't have to pay provincial taxes. Plus this Gimbal(from Aliex) I bought today on Aliexp, almost half price. I bought it many years ago Hero 2, but used it several times for fishing and just here and there with all accessories. Before the screen part was separate and cost 100$ Canadian and the total paid the same price at the regular present Price. after that, the GoPro Hero 2 and accessories were in some boxes and still worked good. I bought Inkee, because of its compact size, after watching several videos of other gimbals. Hohem Steady 4 is good but bulky, and visibility problems on the screen.

      The GoPro 11 is a good camera. Combined with the Inkee should be a good setup.

    The bad thing is that only allows you ONE accesorie even the media mod allows two. For example if you want to record in the night you can not put a ligh and a wireless mic. There is always an wasted space of the media mod using that gimbal.

    Hullo Wayne, for how long have you had the gimbal, I have seen a lot of bad review about it regarding calibration, balancing, glitches and all. For how long have you used it, i am a bit hesitant to try it.

    I noticed in the video that you can remove the battery without removing GoPro from the gimbal.

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  Рік тому +2

      No, there was no mention of that in my review video. To change the battery you have to first remove the camera from the gimbal then take it out of the MediaMod case in order to change the battery. HOWEVER - you can use a double-ended USB-C cable and power the camera from the gimbal's internal battery.

    @1;40 you sttart talking about the camera weight, that the Inkee can accept up to 200grams, while the hero 10, Media module is 212 grams less the thumb bolt, if adding a long thumbolt its 223 grams, a short thumbolt its 220 grams and just the bolt alone its 218.7 grams, lets go a step further, if we now want a Rode wireless go its 244.3 grams less the cable on it I am not arguing with you, just saying that if the gimbal can accept up to then we are Overweighted. my scale may be right or wrong so please forgive me if that is the weights i see.

      Yes, the manufactures specifications state 200 g as the payload. Of course it all depends on what camera you are using. In my instance, I used a GoPro Hero8 with the media mod which only came in at just 163g. I see on the GoPro site that the Hero10 weights 153g without the media mod case, so it's gotten heavier. I'm not sure if the mounting bolts are considered part of the payload, or not. But, as you can see from my review, I added the display mod which bumped the total weight up to 223g and everything balanced and performed well. Of course, there's no telling if this extra weight will be detrimental to the gimbal in the long run, but it does seem to function properly.

      @@TheOneCanoe excellent observation there, agree, Inkeey was made after the hero 8's time. was just made not too long ago.

    Hello! Please help me with some advice. How should I set hypersmooth on my GoPro 11 video camera when using an Inkee Falcon Plus gimbal? On or off? Thank you very much for the information!

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  Рік тому +1

      My advice to you would be to experiment. Try a shot with hypersmooth, then shoot the same scene without and compare. I’ve never used the GoPro 11, but In my case, I use a GoPro Hero 8 and I find I get better shots using the Inkee Falcon Plus with the camera hypersmooth turned on.

    thanx for the review … do you know if the Inkee Falcon can handle the NEEWER 1.33x Anamorphic Lens or might it be too heavy ?

    I saw your video on Amazon & was amazed that you were able to get it to balance with the media mod display! I cannot get mine to balance for the life of me. Any suggestions?

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  2 роки тому

      Not really sure what the issue is there. Mine just balanced automatically when I powered it on. Just make sure it appears centered in the mount before powering it up.

    Thank you. Do you have any idea about splash protection? I was thinking of attaching this to a canoe and running some mild whitewater and I wonder if it would survive the run.

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  2 роки тому +1

      John, The INKEE Falcon Plus is not waterproof. I have reviewed a 'splashproof' gimbal here, the Hohem iSteady Pro4: ua-cam.com/video/egMyXRZGn3U/v-deo.html

      No, unfortunately you do have to disassemble the camera from the gimbal in order to access the memory card.

      If you had the Media Mod, you could have accused its USB port through a computer to get the contents.

    I saw on Amazon that the GoPro hero 8 with media mod won’t fit this.. is that incorrect?

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  2 роки тому

      Perhaps you saw a reference to the original INKEE Falcon which will not accept the media mod case. This newer version is called the INKEE Falcon Plus, and it is specifically designed for use with a GoPro and a media mod case. Check out my video at the 10:00 mark and you will see exactly what this gimbal will work with.

    No Timelapse feature

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  Рік тому

      There is the 'timelapse' button on the gimbal that will start the GoPro recording a timelapse sequence, however there is no app for this gimbal that would allow automatic, keyframe timelapse shooting.
