Boom Baybe! this the reason why we subscribe to ya'll, Rollerblades.. ! what a great episode, didn't expect so many cities involved ! also nice taste in fashion, greg. not too skinny jeans nor overly bagging trousers. Been waiting for such video, with the metroblade in speed! Such videos make us skaters happy, look forward for the Asia video, China is gonna be beautiful!
Greg, it was lovely bump in to you this afternoon in front of the Eifle tower. Thanks for allowing me to take pic and I ll look out for your new amazing videos. Have a good weekend. 😉
Hi this my first time watching your videos and I was wondering what would be a good inline skates for getting back in to skating ? Thanks for your time
Can I ask how old you guys are? I'm 34 and though I learned to skate as a kid, I recently picked up new skates and started going out when I can. So far I'm pretty decent even as a beginner. I'm currently working on learning how to cross over but have learned to do a 180 degree skid break at a fairly low to mid speeds. I've reached top speeds of about 15 to 20 mph... so I think I'm getting there. I tend to lose balance every now and then and have had a couple of falls. I'm wondering if I'm too old to be able to skate the same way you do, and how much practice it took to get you where you are. Anyone can respond to this and I appreciate any advice! Thank you!
If you skate everyday and a fast learner perhaps it would take a year or so for most of the things they did in the video, to skate like that you basically should learn how to skate well, stop, jump. Some of the tricks were hard so it is hard to give any approximation of the time spent skating it would take for you to learn them, perhaps even never. For going fast you do not need any skill, just strong legs and decent skates tho', you can reach those speeds even if you skate for the first time. For jumps in general you have to develop nearly perfect balance, so if you have trouble to keep the balance while skating it won't work. Regarding those dudes they seem quite old perhaps close to ur age and I bet they skate more than 10 years.
I was born in 1970. Greg Mirzoyan was born in 1982. A guy I skated with yesterday was born in 2000 and is on his way to being in the same league as Greg, if he keeps it up for 10 more years. I'm just happy to be rolling and while I get inspiration from the pros, I don't expect to ever skate like them. HTH, check out my channel, if that wasn't obvious ;)
***** Wow, really??? That's insane! I live on Long Island, in New York State. Hard to find good open skating ground here. Just really a lot of little spots. Due to snowy winters, our concrete breaks up a lot and our sidewalks are bad even for bike riding.
Nothing really, those skates are a bit unique in structure. Regarding carbon skates in general the price of those are approximately the same. C cost less than 400$ around 340$ or so. Decent urban skates cheaper that that would be Seba FR series, Flying eagle, Twister.
Think about this. It's the bearings and the wheels that matter that's what makes you go fast and allows you to do slides etc. The boots need to fit snug so your foot doesn't wobble around. Flying Eagle are a real game changer in that they do skates which can be rockered by adjusting the frame somehow. Bauer don't do much advertising but they are the company that the pro hockey skaters use. Powerslide are in fashion at the moment because they make great videos and also make many different brands of skate. I have two pairs of Powerslide skates and they don't fit properly and are uncomfortable after a while. I have tried to contact them twice but they never reply.
@@benozw12 I'm afraid that I can't say. I have only had two pairs of skates. One cheap pair that I bought to start with but they streached and after a short while no longer fitted. Then I bought a hard shell skate with special heat mouldable insides. These have lasted me three years so far and I street skate most days 3 to 4 miles a session. I did think about buying some hockey skates because those can be titened with the laces for best fit. My boots do have laces but they don't really work the straps do all the work. It depends on the type of skating you want to do. If like me you want to skate backwards spin and do intermediate skating hard shell are OK. If you want to do advanced skating jumps and figure skating style I would go for ice skating style skates that lace up and alow you to adjust the tightness.
I don't get it why skaters always want to ride on monuments... sure a wall or a grind on a rail or anything fine, but that monument was crafted by some artist, you just ride on it, jump over it with the potential to harm it ... to me (and i know this might be me alone) this comes of as disrespectful ... and no, not towards the country or state or institution that commissioned it but to the artist that created it. other than that, awesome skating though :) still admire the skill
He makes it look so easy
For sure the best looking skates in the rollerblade range.

I really want to buy those metroblade skates but I don't have 400$.
what is the second best alternative for the metroblade GM\C that I could buy?

@@psocretes8183 Is it better than choose hard over soft boots? Cos currently I own a pair of soft boots with 84mm hydrogen wheels

i also want cool ass skates like those? what are they anyway?
