Hi guyssss!!!!! I’m testing out the NEW Becca pigmentless “foundation” hahaha HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS?!? Hope you’re having a wonderful Saturday!! Sending all my love xoxo
For someone who doesn't like foundation and is looking for something to just smooth my skin this actually does sound appealing. Any alternative recommendations?
the thing is if we are moving toward less coverage/embracing our natural skin let’s also just embrace buying and using less products instead of gimmicks like this. just skipping foundation altogether and spot canceling if you need to makes a lot more sense
Tinted moisturizer with SPF changed the game for me, I love the bare minerals one. As well as no longer using powder. It never felt "right" for me to spot conceal only.
That's exactly what I do on the daily. Only a light under eye concealer and some eye liner with lips. Sometimes if I feel I've gotten enough 💤 ill just slap on some lipstick and call it a day. I mean, if u wanna look less put together, why bother with another product at all.
I have a theory on this. Right now, most people are living in areas where they must wear facemasks to enter public spaces. My guess is, the makeup industry has been impacted because it's hard to wear foundation, blushes, and lipsticks while wearing a mask. I think we're going to see a rapid movement toward less facial makeup as a way to adapt to current times. Becca saw this and tried to give their primer a name that reflects changing times in an effort to increase declining sales.
Too true. I stopped wearing makeup in quarantine and it continued even in going to work. I only wear makeup on the top half of my face and my skin is so much better than it ever has been that I only need to spot conceal. And now I don’t even like the look of full coverage foundations. Things are changing!
Becca: let’s make a sheer foundation Becca Team: here you go! Becca: Sheerer Becca Team: better? Becca: SHEERER!!! Becca Team:... this has no pigmentation? Becca: Ya. That.
It says in the name that it has no pigment. If you buy a product that says in the name it has no pigment and you expect it to be pigmented then that's your own problem. I mean, a foundation without pigment is the same as a primer if you think about it anyways. Plus, if you hear "foundation" without makeup being tied to it, it's usually to say that it's the base of something (the foundation of a house, the foundation of modern technology, ect). So I can understand calling it foundation, it is a base for whatever look you're trying to achieve.
I 100% thought it was going to be a product that adapted to your skins pH and then magically matched your skin tone. I feel like I've seen products like that. Where they go on white, but end up turning a shade of nude.
I get the whole “no makeup makeup” situation, but honestly if I’m gonna go for the “no makeup” look I’ll just wear no makeup. I definitely wouldn’t spend Becca/Glossier prices to look the same as if I’m not wearing makeup.
I agree with you. I noticed that some people have the no makeup, makeup look and they look exactly the same. I think it's better not to wear makeup. Sometimes people wear more makeup when they goout for celebrations and events.
Becca played with the human psyche! Your mind WANTS to see a difference because you are told you’re supposed to. This is 💩 but props to Becca on their marketing 😂
I honestly don't think so. I don't think Becca wanted to fool people like it's so obvious what this product is supposed to do. It's just an eye catching new, fun name as marketing is supposed to be
You’re being too kind. This “foundation” is a scam and falsely labeled and advertised. This is the third review I’ve seen of this product and no one just says “this product is a scam,” though it is just that. 🤦🏻♀️
Check out Too Much Mouth on youtube!!! She gave such an honest review and it was entertaining af 😂😂😭😭 The only truly honest review ive seen!! Disappointed with this Kathleen video after watching hers
I’m so glad that she is doing makeup videos. So many beauty channels have been doing so many other things and makeup has taken a back seat. So thanks Kathleen. Love your channel.
"This is not a foundation, guys. We know what foundation is. This is not foundation, this is fancy primer!" 😂💀 Love you Kathleen, you are the voice of the people
Yes, I’m a fairly new viewer of her content and have been binge watching her videos (Quarantine leaves me with a lot of time 😂). I genuinely thought she was 16 to 18 until she said she was married.
I love the no makeup or natural approach!!! when ever I go to a beauty store/counter the people always look at me like im crazy but I dont want to be caked up! I really hope it becomes more popular
Hi, Kathleen! Oye, no puedo ver tus videos sin terminar riendo a carcajadas y eso me encanta de tí. Hoy no me sentía con ánimo de nada pero ver tus videos siempre me hace olvidar lo que sea. Así que... GRACIAS POR ESO! 😘
When I was a kid, other kids would pick on me, calling me 'freckle face' because I had so so many! And now they're trendy 🤣🤣 I love my freckles and I'm glad people are embracing their natural skin more and more ❤
I miss my natural freckles. They have mostly faded away from my face since I started wearing SPF daily. Yay for protection from skin cancer! But oh no to no more cute freckles! 😑
That looks a so crazy but it did absolutely nothing haha your skin is perfect already so I wonder how it would look on people who had skin issues 🤔 lol
Mira, de verdad, soy muy muy fan de tu personalidad, lo natural y divertida que eres, y de las tomas falsas del final. Me encantas, en serio! (I'm gonna try to write it in English, but I'm Spanish so take it into account.) Look, I'm a huge fan of your personality, you're such a natural and funny person, and I love the bloopers at the end of some videos. I loooove you, really!
Products like this make me wonder what goes on at beauty companies when they decide a product is good enough to launch. This 'foundation' is such a joke. There was no difference on your skin. Thanks for saving us some $, Kathleen!
What's even crazier is that this crap is sold out. Crazy. People fall for most things lol... Obviously Becca knows how ignorant the world is and took advantage of it.
I don't think Becca wanted to intentionally fool people. Whoever thought this would do more then what they said it would is their own fault 😄 I think that name and marketing was genius!
Kathleen your skin is gorgeous you do not need much coverage at all! Maybe if you did a dramatic eye look light-light medium coverage. That’s it though that’s all you need girl you have incredible skin!
Oh I beg to differ. The skin tint actually does something to your face, even if it’s minimal. This joke of a product did absolutely nothing hence the dumb name zero pigment.
I think this whole make up line is directed at people who don't buy make up. Becca was probably thinking, how to get money from people who don't buy make up, and went with "what if we make make up, that makes it look like you have no make up, but you still spend 100$ to look like you have no make up?"
What i dont get is that even if there was magic fabric if only smart ppl could see those clothes/fabric than isnt it safe to assume there are dumb ppl in the world and then they would see u naked anyways so isnt it better just to wear something everyone could see??? Ive always been confused about that story since i was little...
As soon as you said this reminds you of something, I automatically thought about the same thing. The laundry dispenser where you put fabric softener. 90s babies 🙌🏼
Actually, i have a lot of freckles, finding a good shade of foundation always was a problem for me, and now that my skin is clean and free from acne i can get away wearing no foundation regularly, so zero foundation is a product for me and someone like me. I want to put something extra on my skin, i like to take care of myself, so i can see me buying this
@@sarahdemonte5493 my logic is fine, but you are simply rude. I'm not wearing sunscreen 70% of the time, cause it's useless most of the time and i'm sensitive to it. Plus i live in the area where only 2 months considered sunny, i work in the building with no natural light and dry air (so i need extra hydration for my skin)
KATHLEEN, have you tested out the Pixi Vit C Brightening Perfector? If you haven’t, please do and compare that to this Becca no pigment foundation! It sounds like Pixi has successfully managed to achieve what Becca was aiming to do with this product! Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
I literally zoom into my phone like 👀👀👀 every time Kathleen goes to put on faux freckles. Lol I'm obsessed with how they look on her!! I used to have a lot more freckles when I tanned, but now that I stopped, I barely have any. 😭 But I can buy this pen now & it'll look like they never left!! *chef's kiss* 💋 Also the last blooper had me 🤣💀 AF!
Honestly! So many of my girlfriends wear smashbox primer after their skincare for a smooth and flawless complexion. This is nothing innovative, smashbox has skincare properties too!!
Elena Kar. I wear any since I don’t have an issue with the pores but yeah the smashbox one doesn’t roll up into little balls on your face when you’re putting it on also the ‘Pore minimizing’ purple one from smashbox is EVEN BETTER! Because its not clear so you look a little matte too
This doesnt have silicone in it though so I dont think it actually smoothes or blurs. I'm convinced it's a gimmick honestly. I saw jen luvs reviews do a review and this product made NO difference at all. Waste of 32$
You were thinking of the Downy fabric softener ball, Kathleen! Pour the fabric softener in, close, toss in the washer for a gradual release as your clothes spin. As a fellow millennial, I got you!
Kathleen, can you do like a "favorites tv show" video???!...Im finding my tastes vibes with yours (as Im sure others do) your tik toks on Friends and New Girl are hilarious as they are 2 of my absolute favorites shows...and i have since watched Supernatural and Dexter because of you, and liked them (LOVED supernatural) I even started Que pasa USA LOL!!
The whole freckle trend still blows my mind. I have freckles like a decent amount on my face they show mostly on my nose through my makeup and it frustrates me to no end. (I only hate them when I'm trying to hide them and they just refuse; I love my freckles naturally just not while wearing make up.) I mean I can hide them but after awhile of wear they will always make their way through.
@Michelle Adams 💔 I know the feeling babe. I've thought for a while now how ironic it all really becomes. I'm a strawberry blonde not red headed so I never got made fun of for that aspect as much growing up but that, the freckles, having a bigger chest, hips, or butt. Really a lot of the things I remember getting tortured for as a kid or things I have seen others bullied for have become huge trends. I do understand the younger generations have made it more socially acceptable to just be you and be proud but I know some people who have picked on other kids for these exact things then have later copied and/or loved these trends. It's all whatever I'm glad to see some things get better with time but it will never cease to just blow my mind. Freckles are and always have been beautiful. ❤❤
@Michelle Adams same here :-( I feel like everything I was made fun of for having as a child is like "in" now -__-..freckles, big fluffy brows, curly hair, big lips...I think I was born in the wrong time lol
Yeeeesss I remember that laundry ball thing !! I didn't know you had that in the US. In EU (or at least here in France), back in the late 90's early 2000's it was kind of a trend that you had to put your laundry powder into the machine itself with the clothes for it to work better. So brands launched a blue plastic ball and you had to put the powder in it and then turn the machine on, but I don't think there were liquid laundry detergent yet. Then the laundry pods came and these plastic balls disappeared.
I wouldnt use that product as a foundation! I have mild rosacea and that product could NOT cover up redness or smooth out bumpy skin. Like you said it’s just a fancy primer. Also, I think Colourpops freckle pen looks really good. I still don’t understand the need to add faux freckles, but considering I’m a blonde, fair skinned woman who works hard to stay out of the sun as much as possible and hates the remaining freckles from childhood, I never will. But you do you, Kathleen , cuz that’s what makes me like you! ❤️❤️❤️
Try different waters! They have different tastes! You never know! I love spring waters! Ps love your videos been watching you for forever!!! I literally watch your videos while i clean my house so i can distract myself from the fact that i have to clean 😂😂💕
I haven't really been watching any makeup youtube videos lately and this is my first one in a couple months - just wanna say I smiled biggggg when I saw ur face :)
I think it became a lot more popular on tik tok. For the most part people wear very light makeup on there, which is maybe why she associated with gen z
Haven’t finished watching the video, but the name alone confuses me! 😂 Can’t wait to see how this turns out. 👀 Edit: Also, definitely agree that embracing our natural skin and minimal makeup is going to be the new trend. 💞
You should try the Clinique self sun face bronzing gel tint for freckles. It has 50ml und just squirt some out of the tube and use an eyeliner brush with it. It’s a transparent gel with a warm undertone so I‘m pretty sure you will love it 😘😘😘
Layana you might be right but the “tide” is changing. The trends with like E-girl and stuff *look* more natural. Some of the women/girls probably have a lot of makeup on but they make it look more natural. Like the idea of letting freckles show. (Even though some of them use foundation and then draw the freckles on Lol)
Claire Willow yea but like i have NEVER seen an e-girl irl yet and about the natural makeup for example the freckles the girls faces around me looks like a cake face with tiny brown don’t on the face as “freckles” when that’s nit the point of adding faux freckles 😂🤦🏼♀️ That’s all from what I have seen around me
i have tons of freckles and they are more natural/cool toned actually. i got the colourpop freckle pen to give me even more freckles and to bring them back if i put on concealer and they get kinda covered. and i love it!
You’re not crazy! It’s a Downy Ball. I have one because my washing machine doesn’t have a place for fabric softener. So I put my fabric softener in there and works like a charm ❤️
Hi guyssss!!!!! I’m testing out the NEW Becca pigmentless “foundation” hahaha HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS?!? Hope you’re having a wonderful Saturday!! Sending all my love xoxo

I’m going to spend the next 17 min watching you try it out but I cannot with the gimmicky marketing. How dare you Becca? Hmph!!
Selling that primer as a 'no pigment foundation' is the equivalent of someone selling water as a 'no flavour juice'.
🤣
@stephanie sprinkle Lol it's like that guy who was selling "raw water" for a ridiculous price

I used to have a lot more freckles when I tanned, but now that I stopped, I barely have any. 😭 But I can buy this pen now & it'll look like they never left!! *chef's kiss* 💋 Also the last blooper had me 🤣💀 AF!
When I want to have no makeup days I wear a poreless primer already so if you have one this would be a waste of money🤷🏻♀️
Same!
Which one do you wear? Because every "pore reducing" primer I've tried either pills up or clogs my pores.
Because its not clear so you look a little matte too
@@aylingonzalez3357 I'll propably check it out then
This reminds me the benefit porefesional primer. Literally just a primer that covers your pores
This doesnt have silicone in it though so I dont think it actually smoothes or blurs. I'm convinced it's a gimmick honestly. I saw jen luvs reviews do a review and this product made NO difference at all. Waste of 32$
Let’s count how many times Kathleen says “not gonna lie.” 😂
New drinking game!
You were thinking of the Downy fabric softener ball, Kathleen! Pour the fabric softener in, close, toss in the washer for a gradual release as your clothes spin. As a fellow millennial, I got you!
I love how honest you are in reviewing the products!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
the ending was so chaotic lmao 10/10
“For the love of God. Somebody please help me”😂😂😂 me, every day.
Kathleen: There’s a new hurricane outside my window ....
me in South TX: ...... same .....
Heyyy, me too!
Literally watching this as my wifi keeps cutting off due to the winds😂
Me too Pharr, Tx
The washer thing was a blue Downy ball that you put fabric softener in! We used to use it and it is basically the same shape as the "foundation"
YESSS IT LOOKS LIKE THE SOFT LID FOR WASHING MACHINE LIQUID!! Like ariel in the uk omg i loved the feeling
Kathleen, can you do like a "favorites tv show" video???!...Im finding my tastes vibes with yours (as Im sure others do) your tik toks on Friends and New Girl are hilarious as they are 2 of my absolute favorites shows...and i have since watched Supernatural and Dexter because of you, and liked them (LOVED supernatural) I even started Que pasa USA LOL!!
dude, this becca zero foundation looks like a gimmick...
That's what I've been saying lol it's so not worth the price because it does basically nothinf
YES IT REMINDS ME OF THAT FABRIC SOFTENER DISPENSER THING! Yes it was blue and the exact same shape!
It’s the downy ball, that released fabric softener at the “right” time in the washing machine
Honestly I feel that just a concealer was enough..u look amazing and sometimes we feel comfortable with less makeup.....
Kathleen has amazing skin
KAT. Natural freckles are not always warm!!! I have mine and they are grey af
Bibi Grill I literally have a green one lol.
@@deisymeza976 😂 omg
Mine are a cool brown
this made me check the tone of my freckles 😂
@@chiknlittle and what is it??! 👀
Kathleen's top is 😳😳😳 girl them tatas and that colour is just such a good neon orange
“I hope you walk away from this video fulfilled and satisfied...” HA! THATS WHAT SHE SAID!
😂😭 love you, I had to lmao
Lol
ok
After it hit the back of her throat
the packing reminds me of my grandma Pond's cream ahaha so cute though
Yes! It is the Downy ball. You fill it with fabric softner before our washers had a place to put it.
I haven't really been watching any makeup youtube videos lately and this is my first one in a couple months - just wanna say I smiled biggggg when I saw ur face :)
I was literally yelling “the Downey ball”
omg thank you! I couldn't remember what it was called. lifesaver.
Same
It appears we now have The Emperors New Clothes in foundation form. 😂
Becca’s equivalent of The Emperor’s New Clothes
😂 😂 😂
omg the downy fabric dispenser ball!!!!!! what a throwbackkkk
i loooovvvveeeeee ur face without foundation on, that becca product really works well on u😍
I'll go with Wayne Goss on this one, this product is truly an overly expensive primer.
I didn’t realize the “no makeup” trend was associated with gen z??
Acceptance is the general theme so I guess it falls under that lol
It’s not. They just want to claim everything.
I think it became a lot more popular on tik tok. For the most part people wear very light makeup on there, which is maybe why she associated with gen z
Right? People my age wear more makeup than any other generation lol
I'm 33 what the heck is a gen z
Haven’t finished watching the video, but the name alone confuses me! 😂 Can’t wait to see how this turns out. 👀
Edit: Also, definitely agree that embracing our natural skin and minimal makeup is going to be the new trend. 💞
The little blue washing machine ball thing was for fabric softener! My mom had it!!!
You should try the Clinique self sun face bronzing gel tint for freckles. It has 50ml und just squirt some out of the tube and use an eyeliner brush with it. It’s a transparent gel with a warm undertone so I‘m pretty sure you will love it 😘😘😘
"The Emperor has no clothes!"...that's my thought...lol
It looks like the Downey ball you used to throw in the washer for the “perfect” amount of fabric softener
Yup!! That’s it. I was trying to remember the name too lol.
No idea why people call this a “Gen Z trend”. I’m Gen Z and see way more cake face than I do natural makeup from people my age.
Maybe cuz Charli D’Amelio is gen z and she looks like she wears minimal makeup? (Not saying she actually does but it looks that way)
Honestly I feel like people are making it a gen z thing when it not if that makes sense 😂
Claire Willow yea but like i have NEVER seen an e-girl irl yet and about the natural makeup for example the freckles the girls faces around me looks like a cake face with tiny brown don’t on the face as “freckles” when that’s nit the point of adding faux freckles 😂🤦🏼♀️
That’s all from what I have seen around me
Layana I find the fake freckles look bad IRL tbh 🤦🏻♀️but the trend of not covering real freckles is cute AF 💕
i have tons of freckles and they are more natural/cool toned actually. i got the colourpop freckle pen to give me even more freckles and to bring them back if i put on concealer and they get kinda covered. and i love it!
You’re not crazy! It’s a Downy Ball. I have one because my washing machine doesn’t have a place for fabric softener. So I put my fabric softener in there and works like a charm ❤️
