MacBook Pro M1 2020 Trackpad click problem

Does anyone else experience the same problem I am having with either their MacBook Pro or a Macbook with the new large trackpad. if you click on the edge of the trackpad it will sometimes work and sometime not?

my trackpad seems uneven from one bottom corner you can feel the edge and from the other i can feel the edge. can u also check and tell if its normal or should i get my laptop fixed.

i bought my pro m1 yesterday and has the same problem. did you take to apple?

no i checked with with friends that have the same m1 pro and its exactly the same. so i think its normal. part of palm rejection i am guessing

Clicking (pressing hard) does not work on any part of my touchpad. Can you tell me how you solved the problem? thank you
