Thank you! This method to align the trackpad is much easier than the official way. I was getting nowhere lol
@@flapjackspeeder what's the official way? Lol

Thank you sir! Great video. I changed out my trackpad today using only your video. Great Job!
Awesome, glad it helped! If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others and commenting to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
on the 1:58 min mark.. i completely broke off that socket while pulling the ribbon cable forgetting to lift the latch up.. now the keyboard is messed up :( what do you recommend i should do?
thanks for the video
@dimepia123 you'll need a micro solder expert.
@@ItsBinhRepaired thank you for your response.
Just to solder in a new socket or replace the entire pcb?
I have had issues with the trackpad and keyboard turning off suddenly. We tried getting a new flex cable and that didn't work. We also tried another part, I forgot the name of it, but that didn't work. Any suggestions? And is this a common issue for this MacBook Air model? I've been trying to fix this for months now
Battery and trackpad/cable
the battery reads fine, and we already tried daughter board and trackpad cable. Do you think we should try the whole trackpad?@@ItsBinhRepaired
@@carlascy17 possibly :(
from where can we order this trackpad ?

What about solar energy Laptops?
Solar?
My A2337 stopped clicking properly, or better, it does click but only sometimes. Out of the blue, it starts clicking again, otherwise the haptic feedback is mostly gone.
Do you think I need to replace the whole trackpad? I already ordered one and I'm relying on your video to replace it!
Thank you
Usually the trackpad or the cable. Hope the repair goes well. If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others and commenting to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
Hi thanks for the Video how ist the little Board for the Flex Cables fixes i see no screws ?
Hm?
Its doublesided glue tape
Use isopropyl alcohol
I had spilled some water on my macbook and it started to click when not asked for. I saw your video on UA-cam and replaced the trackpad with a new one. It worked fine for a day but suddenly stopped working and now, even my keypad doesn’t work anymore. Do you know what might have gone wrong?
Thanks.
Sounds like the water damaged the motherboard/logicboard
@@ItsBinhRepaired the keypad used to work fine before the repair
@@swopnildahal7282 Water takes time to corrode. If not dried properly, it gets worse and worse.
The piece that connects the keyboard flex cable(like the part that is supposed to click it into the trackpad) came off during a battery replacement do you know if there’s a way to fix this?
Click? Do I show it in the video?
@@ItsBinhRepaired yes, sorry I’m not explaining it right it’s by the trackpad where the flex cable detaches there’s a very small tab that holds the cable in place 1:53
@sennappel the flip latch came off? You need to get it back on
whatever the flex cable is plugged into that whole piece came off
: ( need to replace the part.
I had some liquid damage which caused my keyboard to stop working, I replaced the keyboard and it still didn't work then changed the trackpad as I've heard they're connected but the new one didn't work do you have any tips?
Did you replace the trackpad cable? Might be the motherboard connector.
@@ItsBinhRepaired the new trackpad cable didn't work at all and neither did the new one. The old trackpad works but the keyboard doesn't work at all even when trying with a whole new trackpad and cable
@@M3HMI might be the replacement is bad
@@ItsBinhRepaired I've ordered new keyboard, trackpad and ribbon cable so hopefully when I plug them in they work thanks for your help
@@M3HMIit works?
