Gla 45 amg looks like a fun car for daily driving and to take it to the track as well
This shows your amazing skill. Doesn’t look that fast until you pass other people. Than you realise how fast your going.
And the car looks like an amazing piece of kit.
As a gla owner it was nice to see other people get to experience such a fun AMG. Completely different ethos than any other amg, such a fun car to drive.
I love then they glow up with happiness and fear, when you drive 10-20kmh slower by ur own trust, for them its brutal, for you it's safe, im always in awe when is see experienced folks do their perks ^^ .
I love this layout, especially with the rear cam 👍the speedo cutout shows a noticeable increase in production quality. Keep it up Misha! Hopefully I can bring my car down to you from the UK one day.

Love the videos, amazing how easy you made look in the wet, I've have actually done one lap myself in a modified astravan. Really trying to get out again this year. I keep saying I would live someone to drive me round but not sure how I would handle it as a passenger lol
What a great day and time to post this. I'm watching this. While it is raining cats and dogs outside. I enjoyed this so much that I restarted the video and watched it again. It was so smooth and controlled. Almost a dance if you will.
I like your driving style. Smooth with no unnecessary steering movements. Other drivers in your videos don't have this smooth flow that you have. Really, really nice.
Probably likely due to both the car and the driver. He’s a good driver for sure. Also, the car drives incredibly well. It’s a true sports car.

I drive a 2023 GLA 45 everyday and its fun every time. It just zips around traffic and is fun every single time.

Have you had the gears jumping due to a bump, in a modern Mercedes?
I tried a CLA Shooting Break few weeks ago and a bump in the road made the gear jump down.
Maybe the dealers car have been abused. I had to make a manual shift up and after that the car was back to normal again.

@@mgcharoudin Must have been an abused gearbox or something, then. If I would have enter the carousel with that car it would have lost its gear.

Love it, he tries to explain how good of a driver he is, and I would probably say insane driving, also. Like he said, it is more impressive that he didn’t know the car either. I give M credit for knowing the track and his driving, but I got to give some for the MB technology also, Michelin deserves some too, I think. Tire technology has improved so much. But M can drive.
The experience is totally unrelatable via video and words. Especially the vertical movements don't come across properly at all on wide angle video. Laps like these look decent fast on video, but in person they are just plain insane, even for those who are used to driving fast. He really is a proper, legit racing driver.

A normal Swiss car insurance does not cover the Nordschleife, also not in Touristenfahrten. So quite daring to go out in this condition in a Swiss car. 🙂
I went there for the experience and not to findout where the limit is of my Car…. so i drove two slow laps in the rain and thanks to @Misha Charoudin i knew where the wet ideal line was. Or to answer it in smart ass way, i dont think the Swiss car insurance covers any racetracks my Friend 😀
@@bvic888 Exactly., no racetrack including Nordschleife Touristenfahrten. If you (your car) hit somebody you have to pay your damages and the third party damage. Without insurance I personally would not take that risk. I am Swiss, drove more than 500 laps over there and witnessed some unfortunate events including people wrecking there cars and turn out empty handed. If you are aware of the risk and are willing to take it, all good.
Why is there more grip off the race line in wet? Does this apply to all tracks?

@@mgcharoudin misha, i am dr fat puss on asseto corsa, i think ive seen you online a few times. 24 hour nurburg server? Anyways, love your content big ring fan. Want to meet you one day and do a lap, I probably have 4000 virtual laps under my belt but itching to feel the real thing to connect the missing dots. My rig is all fanatec hardware and i got the ebrake set up and all that with vr. Please let me know what server you practice on I would love to do some virtual laps with you. Keep up the good work much love from Texas.

I've been considering a 45 for a while now, but it seems just too capable to be fun on a normal road? that's what I'm seeing.

I’ll try and help you. I’ve had the ‘fun’ Hyundai I30N since 2018. I had the manual car then the DCT model. I did love that car and sure, it was fun. But I’ve owned a 2017 A45 now since last March 2023 - it blows the I30N away on all levels. I know it’s a different price bracket but seriously, it is so quick, the gearbox is amazing, it looks fantastic, the Sound system is a major step up and the interior is lovely. Trust me, just because the car is very capable, it doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it.
Misha how would the traction control on would have affected your driving ?

I’d love to know how much further you drive doing the wet lap to the dry lap having to take most of the corners wide.

@@mgcharoudin I think he meant to say, how much longer does it take you to complete a lap in the wet compared to the dry.
@@mgcharoudin so using the dry line or inside of a corner you’re travelling less than going round the outside of the corner.
Ok it’s not much but after 50 corners, does that alter the distance by 0.1 of a mile?

as you know the wet line usually has a bigger radius so the lap is technically longer distance. he wonders how much time that adds as opposed to the dry line

Sound of this car is like from speakers, not muffler 🤔
Nope, original muffler. AMG actually designed the sound for A45/GLA45/CLA45 and it’s one of the best sounds from a two liter engine/car.

@@mgcharoudin I should have add ..until about 2018/2019 when new models of this cars came and car regulations have changed. Unfortunately for the worse considering sound. So, after 2019 you can achieve this kind of sound with couple of tausend € extra for the aftermarket exhaust.
@@delphis28 my friend Cayenne V8 from those years still sounds great ;) Some companies go with downsize too far.
I have a 2018 gla 45, and can confidently say there is a tiny bit of exhaust sound wired into the cabin ONLY when the sport exhaust button is turned on.
