It is a phenomenal game. The fighting is so fun. They recorded something like 100 takedown movs. The finishers are great. Play it a million times and sometimes you get different take down animations.
Jeff is quite the martial artist. He's unbelievably quick and knowledgeble...I like his analogy to the "pie". Got a chance to work with him in his younger years and he has only grown "exponentially" through Dan Inosanto.
the fighting in this game is the best fighting in a game so far, if anyone here wants a video game where you beat the crap out of enemies using kali moves you have to get the bourne conspiracy, the fighting is seriously good and satisfying and everytime you beat up like 3 guys at once you feel bad ass everytime
I have a friend who has studied Kali Silat for 9 years now. I trained just a tad in it but I was more into TKD which I am a 1st dan black belt in. Kali Silat is badass though.
good fight choreographer..most probably it s all mixed up with mainly kali, then jkd, tkd, kempo, shorinji, jutsu etc. i guess what works in the movie do not necessarily works in the street...most probably there s no ultimate martial arts that works for a good action movie but a combination of several combat style in it... and maybe the same on the street...
I disagree with the person who sums up street fighters though as having just haymaker techniques. Having trained with some, a lot of them are extremely skilled, and have their own arts that are battle tested.
@TheSubwaysurfer IMO Street fighting is a legitimate way of fighting. I used the term street fighting to generally describe a way of fighting without the rules of sports fighting or "fair" fighting. This FMA that Imada is talking about is street fighting and it is "systemized" art. Meaning, you learn a concept of systems to beat the living cr@p out of someone with anything or whatever... hence the term, bahala na.
@learntwostruggle Street fighters only know how to throw a right haymaker, a left haymaker, and pulling on your shirt??? Like Bruce Lee, Ip Man, Masutatsu Oyama and most genuine Martial Artists.....? I think you meant untrained fighters... Dan Inosanto is good though.
What is "street fighting" anyway? It's basically the art of the ambush, IMO. Jump you in the dark, jump you when You ain't looking, attacking in packs, and preying on people smaller, older, and who are afraid.
i was disappointed by the fighting in the bourne game it was like boxing stood with your arms up it took ages to take down an enemy in the movie it was fast and took seconds
@StreetLethalRacing Do you even know anything about Dan and Jeff? Do you know Dan's students? If it is hand to hand combat you are talking about, not many people know more than Dan. I know at least 3 students from his lineage who taught the Navy Seals. You are telling me a thug will win out in a hand to hand combat against some of the top trained killers in the US Military? Needless to say the teachers? Stick to some lethal street racing rather than talk about fighting.
@StreetLethalRacing What makes you think they aren't real fighters? Filipino Kali was born in the jungle of the Filipines. Street fighters only know how to do three things: a right haymaker, a left haymaker, and pulling on your shirt. This man, Dan Inosanto and others will maul you and anybody in your neighborhood.
Quit dogging the guy for something that happened years ago. He alone lives the burden day and night, why come out of nowhere and refresh such bullshit?
Thank you this is so Awesome 💪❤️🙏
the best call I have heard in a long time :).
Jeff Imada is a Guro Dan student who has long been associated with movies
