Put an x-pipe in there, it'll cut out all that rasp. I did that on my Suburban which had Dynomax Bullets and it sounded so much better after the x-pipe, sounded like a boat without it.
We have tested x pipes and H pipes ,with dynomax bullet race muffler's and flow master then straight pipe and no muffler's. The engine was a Pontiac 468 stroker. No gain in horse power with either x pipe or H pipe, the best on our Dyno showed us was 3.5 diameter straight pipe which was down on HP but only 22. We have tested many exhaust systems and layouts, the H pipe and X pipe only change the sound, sound doesn't make horsepower
@@vhp454 thats not the point, tru duals generally sound like ass especially on newer shit and with no muffler or reso, for some reason ppl think it sounds "good"
WAIT!!!!!!! TIMEOUT!!!!!!!................. A person with STRAIGHT PIPE thinks it's too loud, raspy, drone, etc????!!!!!! No fukin way!!!! Who in the world would've thought?! LMAO! But this setup doesn't sound good at all either! THIRD TIME might be a charm! But love your work guys!
It’s not that I knew it was going to be loud, but I got tired of it after year and decided to do go with something different, trust me i love it but I got tired of hearing the drone
@@arianmireles3627 LOL - EXACTLY my comment! Everyone that wants and does this thinks it's going to be so cool but they end up hating or not liking it - I guarantee you about 90% of people have regret! There's absolutely NO music to the ears, no tone, it's just loud metal trash can sound. You have to utilize technology like X or H Pipe and some kind of resonator like Carven, Flowmaster FlowFx or Widow Maker, etc.
Ive got a 08 tundra with the 4.6l v8 running true dual straight with echo tips...its loud and raspy...would a couple of glasspacks kill the rasp? Not worried alot about the noise level...thanks love the videos
I’m a big fan of you guys but this was bad customer service here. He said it was too loud, too raspy. An x pipe alone would have fixed it but you didn’t tell him that until after you put mufflers on
Not a fan of true duals or glass packs. I didn't know shit and had a shop Trush hush or some shit like that, glass muffler with perforated core straight through on my 8.1 Silverado. Sounds like shit now that the muffler is broken in. Next time around am thinking 3" from long tube headers Y into 4" Cherry Bomb M80400 with a 6" or 8" tip😂 for looks might add a resonator if too raspy
Yeah, just not impressed at all. It's his, so let him do what he wants. I'm not a fan of that obnoxious rasp or popcorn fart noise. I've gotta have an x-pipe in there.

I’ve never been a fan of true duals without a crossover

True duals sound insane
@vhp454 down on hp by 22 and you say it's the best lmao what?
@@vhp454 thats not the point, tru duals generally sound like ass especially on newer shit and with no muffler or reso, for some reason ppl think it sounds "good"
B@@MidnightPolaris800
The engine lost 46 HP and 52 TQ with an X pipe or H pipe. Sorry I forgot to add this to my comment
The 16 year old kid in me loves the true dual straight pipes! I still like a good bark but less rasp.
I don’t think I’ve heard a Tahoe like that. I like it
please please please encourage x pipes. will make you more money and will always sounds better and give more power.
Liked how it sounded before. I like loud and proud and obnoxious 🤘😎🔥🥃💯
I would’ve gone for a deeper sound with a dual in/ out Flowmaster 40 series.
Put a dual in dual out mid muffler like magnaflow or borla pro sx with a built in xpipe
Sounds much better than before and it's not too loud or anything 🔥
Hate to say it but if he wanted quiet you should have gone with a Flow FX or Magnaflow dual in dual out.

Should've gone with 50 series delta flow.
Sounds a lot better. Cool looking truck!
Cant believe how quiet it is even though its straight piped
It still has aftermarket cats on it
Massive improvement in audio quality 👍
Good to hear
Nice work! 🤘🏻🔨😎 Sounds better… but, the raspiness is a bit much.
Sounded horrible before. Sounds better with the mufflers, but still rough. I’d try an X pipe.
Dudes oil gauge is so fucked up😂😂
He's got that high pressure oil pump 😂😂
Sounds alot better . X Pipe wud definitely make it sound alot better 😊
Straight pipes do not have a break in period 🤣
The problem is the true dual bullcrap.
They some tough guys until some real guys show up to put their butts to shame 😅
Nice barndoor burb.
True dual 2” with stock manifolds and converters is never gonna sound great. 2.5” with resonators and crossover is the best street setup
Clapped out 350 making clapped out 350 noises….. A x pipe would really help eliminate the sound of two 4 cylinders in a fight to their death.
do you have a part number for those Atomic Twist mufflers for a 2021 Scat Pack? I think they sound amazing!
All it needed was an x-pipe for the rasp. That was a clean truck though
A set of oval shaped mufflers would work a tad better than some bullets

X pipe
that oil pressure @ 4:23
X pipe or an H pipe would sound good.
Pretty Neat Owner Made A OBS Tahoe SS Would Luv To Find One But In Cadillac Escalade Bodystyle.
That means you guys put that hanger on that tip? WTF! Some janky work dude. Definitely needs a X pipe. Fully agree!
Nice truck. Nice set up.
I like those 350 vortex
*vortec
On some cars you really dont want a crossover, like c63 or n63 bmws. But here its not rlly the best haha
Like the mikes
I love sbc engines
Sounds good, would sound great with an x-pipe...
X pipe... H pipe... as a fellow Yukon owner would say. 👍
I wonder how the 454 SS would sound.
Mint 👌
Badass

X-Pipe!
Problem is undersized pipes.
you mean his neighbours want it quieter
MENGA MINT!!!
Sounds like a Harley.
Sounds worse

Keep it straight piped and just put an x pipe. Done
Dude repeated himself 5 times
Rev it normal 😂
H-Pipe
قبل كانت احلى
Still too raspy
Yeah, just not impressed at all. It's his, so let him do what he wants.
I'm not a fan of that obnoxious rasp or popcorn fart noise. I've gotta have an x-pipe in there.
Sounds like garbage, put the cat back on.
Still sounds like crap
chevys never sound good...all tinny and no rumble...get a Dodge for the best sound
Agreed but you can still make a chevy sound good
unless u have 8.1 in it
Wish I could have you hear mine. Longtubes with 2.5" y pipe to a single 3 with high flow cat and borla atak 350/383 cratemuffler
Best ticking sound😂😂😂😂
