    Here's a ChatGPT summary:
    - Christy Lynn introduces herself and her baby Evelyn, who is five and a half months old.
    - She shares seven tips that helped her through the four-month sleep regression.
    - Tip 1: Wait a couple of minutes before pulling the baby out of bed when they wake up at night.
    - Tip 2: Widen the baby's wake windows from 60 minutes to 1.5-2 hours between naps.
    - Tip 3: Move the baby to their nursery to help them sleep better.
    - Tip 4: Use a wearable blanket or sleep sack to provide a sense of security after unswaddling.
    - Tip 5: Black out the baby's room completely to prevent early morning light from waking them.
    - Tip 6: Establish a consistent nap time routine similar to the bedtime routine.
    - Tip 7: Educate yourself on the four-month sleep regression and understand the developmental changes.
    - Christy recommends the "Taking Cara Babies" classes and resources for further help.
    - Main message: Implementing specific strategies and understanding the developmental changes can help parents and babies navigate the four-month sleep regression successfully.

You are my hero! My little guy just hit his sleep regression and it’s been hard, but this video is super informative and I like how calm you are. This makes me feel like I’m not doing it wrong as a parent.

I watched this video yesterday I’m not kidding when I say my son has not fought his sleep when I implemented some of the tips you gave. I took note of his wake window, stuck to a simple nap time routine and made sure his sleeping environment is set up perfectly and without distractions. He falls asleep within minutes!! I am amazed. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

My baby is not settling well in the Snoo once she hit 4 months, and she wants night feedings to get back to sleep every 2 hours. She was a great sleeper before the regression! Plus she has been rolling to her belly since 3 months and hates how it restrains her. I appreciate that you shared your experience and I think I’m going to try and transition her to her crib in the nursery (which already has blackout blinds). I just think she will be happier, and so will we.
She already has had 1.5-2hr wake windows but only 30 minute naps usually. And most of them she is sleeping on me. I’m struggling with household chores because I literally have no time apart from her except 1.5 hour stretches of sleep at night.

Baby boy is hitting that sleep regression right now! When he was younger, he would wake up, nappy change, play a bit if not hungry, feed, play again and sleep. It has been like that from 1m old to until sleep regression.
I tried routines and a lot of things in there and obviously he was fighting sleep times and particularly crying a lot. Later on, I realised that it was not crying from fighting the sleep but rather he was hungry! That sleep regression also comes with increased appetite/need to feed (or a growth spurt or extra calories for the changes happening?), which I didn't realise straight away, as this crying before sleep was different from crying for food. So now I feed him before (sometimes I forget feeding!) and he is easier to put him down to sleep - still crying though but less!
Maybe that would help too 😊

I am taking care of my first grandchild at 64, so I am relearning so much.
He was eating every 2 hours. He was born premature at 30 weeks but exhausting. Lol
During the day if he goes to sleep while taking a bottle but I don't want him to sleep I change his diaper or his clothes.
      That wakes him.
He didn't like tummy time, but that really helps to exhaust him for later on so that he sleeps better. Babies need tummy time from the very beginning in different ways. He also needs to work on arm strength.
I have to figure out how much he could drink without spitting up so that he would sleep well.
He went from 3 lbs 12 oz to 16 lbs in 5 months and realized he doesn't need a lot of clothes on at night or he gets hot and fussy. I had purchased some very soft burp cloths, and he likes those when you dab his lips and let him hold onto it.
Otherwise, the other ones, rougher, wake him.
But also, if I just take that very soft cloth and put under his neck anyone that place him in his pack and play and he doesn't wake due to a sudden cold spot behind his neck.
I purchased a nice pack and play mattress because the original one is just a board with barely a pad.
I believe he is teething, so i tried it, and he likes his formula cold now.
I also think he is lactose intolerant, like the rest of our family, so I put lactose drops in his formula.
      It helps with the gassyness.
If he starts suddenly crying, I know to do the bicycle thing to relieve gas or rock his hips with his knees up.
Because our daughter has a rare bone marrow disease (PNH), and there was a problem when he was born because they had to suddenly take him due to bleeding.
He was diagnosed with a PVL grade 1, which means he could have cerebral palsy or some other type of problem.
So every day that I have him, I know his parents do it too, we do different exercises tell his brain how his arms and legs should move.... just in case their is a signal problem.
Read, sing, explain, talk, allow them to talk back and make faces at each other. I make up silly songs about Rex changing his clothes like this arm in or this arm out, etc. That way he knows what I'm doing to him. He is very happy.
Sing songs to them because they learn quickly through songs.
I remember teaching this same 😅daughter, when she was 4 or 5, our address to the song from 1-800-95-Jenny. Lol.
I realized that she was singing the commercial, so I changed the words to our address and phone number.
      ❤ from Grandma

Thank you! My son had a rougher than normal week but it wasn't horrible until Saturday night when he woke up every 1.5 hours 😭 We worked hard to increase his wake windows Sunday during the day and turned his white noise machine up a notch or 2 Sunday night.... he slept the whole night again 🤯 No idea if he'll keep it up but I'm hoping so

We are right in the thick of sleep regression. We moved our daughter to her own room when she was 2 and a half months old only because both me and my wife caught covid and we didn't want her near us when we had our masks off. Thank goodness my daughter is a very good night sleeper but, her napping is the problem. I am going to try to do a combo of widening wake windows but, also she is about to start day care which I think will help her nap better.

My baby has no problem falling asleep is staying asleep... she only naps 30 min
I put her down by 7pm give her a dream feed at 11:00pm and around 4am a bottle. But she will stirr and wake up every hour or 2 hours so I'm using the paci for now.
When does this end? My baby is 4.5 month

I had read somewhere that what we start during the regression will stick. After the midnight feed my bub would wake at 3am, then every hour after.
I let her resettle after the 3am, when I know she wasn't hungry.
The next night got abit better.. And now we're back to only 2 dream fed and no other real stirring. Good luck

Not sure if you can help, my problem is actually getting my 4 month old to sleep, she screams uncontrollably for around 3 hours non stop every night, it started around 2 weeks ago, she wakes up once in the night for a bottle and goes straight back to sleep no issues. Not sure what to do but struggling a lot right now

Mine has started cat napping since 2m. We ended up try resettle her each nap. Is yours cat napping during the day? If she does do you rescure her naps or let her wake up after 45min? I find if i let my little one wake up she wont be awake for 1.5hrs, i need to settle her for another nap within an hour. And she is cranky.
