I bought Tom's book The Fit Racehorse II a couple of years ago. His research and training methods were ahead of his time then, and unfortunatley, are still ahead of our time. It's too bad more traininer haven't done a deep dive into this pool of knowledge.
Food for thought here, especially about the fatigue threshold. I remember Dr. O'Connor lecturing about the same idea when I was an undergrad at UNH.
