Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (born April 7, 1952) is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding president of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences.
Ghamidi's conclusions and understanding of Islam, including the Sharia, has been presented concisely in his book Mizan with the intention of presenting the religion in its pure shape, cleansed from tasawwuf, qalam, fiqh, all philosophies and any other contaminants.

It is the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, but in Dubai there are already 02 Hindu temples since decades. The real difference is that the temple made in Abu Dhabi is the largest in west Asia, given lots of publicity with Indian Govt backing & support from Abu Dhabi Govt. As Ghamdi sb said that the main issue is presence of non-Muslims in Arab peninsula, which cannot be stopped as the current Arab regimes are far from real teachings of Islam. In fact the entire Muslim world is ruled by secular minded leaders.

غامدی صاحب سے ایک سوال ہے کہ جزیرہ نما عرب کا پہلے نام نجد اور حجاز تھا۔ مگر اب ایک خاندان (آل س عو د ) کھ نام پر ملک نام رکھ دیا گیا تھا۔ کیا یہ مناسب ہے۔ کیونکہ میں نے آج کل کے بچوں سے جب پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ صل اللہ علیہ والہ واصحابہ وسلم کی قومیت nationality کیا تھی تو جواب آیا کہ س عو دی۔ کیا یہ توہین رسالت نہیں۔ کیونکہ س عو دی اس کو کہتے ہیں جس نے آل س عو د کی بیعت کی ہو۔
