The amount of time you spend polishing your production skills becomes more evident with every new video. Thank you for adding the ground reference tags.
I appreciate you noticing them. I've used the ground tags before, but this video definitely called for them. I try to learn something new in each video.
Great video and views. I really love that you include both jet and prop planes videos on your channel. Thanks again for quickly becoming one of the best aviation channels on here. You're a pretty cool uncle as well! Take care and thanks again for bringing us along.
I'm starting to wonder just how long it's going to be in Lakeland now. The airport is expanding like crazy, and they are planning on building a second runway right through the location of all the static displays and hangars!
They do such an amazing job! It helps when everyone is moving in the same direction at the same speeds and altitude. It gets a little hairy when people haven't read or don't follow the directions though!
Wally, That was back in the 70's, and on those ultra-busy days, ATC was more like "Flow Control." They didn't clear anyone to land, just tried to insure everyone was more or less separated. Funny story: I was a controller at Ventura Tower (72-75). The day I took my Instrument instructor checkride, the Van Nuys GADO office was also making me an Accident Prevention Counselor. It would be kind'a hard to have 'Pink Slipped' my double-I ride, and then hung paper on me, making me one of the 'good guys!' Your niece is a cutie. Is she planning on becoming a pilot some day?
@@carlmclelland7624 She's shown a little bit of interest. I recently started working on my Flight Instructor rating (taking the writtens), so we'll see where that leads me! 🙂
I'm not at a place that I can actually look at the video, but I'm pretty sure I show my iPad at some point near Lake Parker, and I think I just included all of the planes that were on the iPad inbound to Sun N Fun hoping they'd eventually see the video! So, you were probably on the arrival in front of our behind me! What were you flying?
I think I accidentally deleted your reply. After looking at my iPad video, you appear to be departing as I’m arriving over I4! We arrived Friday morning for the weekend!
@@AccidentalAviatormy reply is still there! I mustve been departing on your way in - anywho happy to have to you put my tail number in your description so I can google myself!
I've flown up there a few times in my Arrow, but I haven't recorded one yet. I'm sure that would make a great video. My plane is getting some avionics upgrades at the moment, so maybe after!
THATS MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! I had an amazing time! Ty for taking me!❤
I didn't even know you were on here!
What a lovely experience hope she will fly one day😊
@@DianneSmith-fv1vi I'm hoping so too. I've started on my Flight Instructor rating to hopefully teach her at some point.

I wish I was down in south Florida (with my plane) to get to fly with them more.
Nice flight. Nice to see a fellow PMP pilot
It's sort of my adopted home. My brother has a shop at PMP.

It never ceases to amaze me how well the controllers are able to organize such a massive number of planes!

Good job, there... "T-tail" Reminded me a a weekend landing at Van Nuys CA on a sunny, VFR day.
I've never had the pleasure of landing there yet, but would love to!
