I also thought like that, but: torque vectoring (it is not haldex), tune possibilities, better dsg (can handle more nm)

The VZ5 is faster than RS3 or RSQ3 and the benefits from the 5cyl. is above 220 km/h. Akebono brakes, all wheel drive, transmission and exhaust system are also from Audi RS models. Stage 1 without changing anything but Software is about 505PS and 630NM from HGP in Germany. VMAX off and u run much faster than 300kmh easily. The normal VZ will never reach 300kmh. How is that not worth?

@@Castrovibes90 the VZ5 has 0-100 in 3.9 secs, the RS3 in 3.1... in 99.5% of the roads in the world, you cannot go faster than 220km/h. VZ has also AWD, and the exhaust system is the same as the Audi S4... the differences that you are mentioning are not worth it for the $60+k price, that's why the model sold almost zero and will be discontinued in the facelift 2025

@@ClaudioAguileraMunozOn my exhaust system is a RS badge punched in. The S4 is a different platform. The normal VZ has also AWD but not the same as the VZ5! That’s a big different bread. RS3 does also 3,9 secs or convince me otherwise. A used Formentor costs here about 13-15k less than a used RS3 or RSQ3 so again, how is that not worth it? I’m on the 0,5% of the roads in the world, so for me it’s a huge difference where the VZ5 can go easily far above 300kmh while the 4cyl. struggles with 270kmh. Even to drive with 4 more passenger feels easy for the 5cyl.

​@@Kaysersozathe clusters don't show each kph every other frame. They almost align perfectly on both cars when the vz5 is at 113kph and the vz3 at 108. That's 5 difference at higher speed than what you said (at lower speed the difference is less) only at after getting more speed the difference in power really shows.

@@berryzie7544 5 cylinder better for higher power, but even 4 cylinder you can do 600 hp with same amount of money as to do 700ho for 5 cylinder. I just drove rs3 700hp, crazy fast. However I drove week ago formentor vz5 stock and my old heavy (7/2016) passat stage I (on my channel) is significantly faster till 5rpm and feels like rocket againts stock vz5, vz5 top end was similar but slower. 5 cylinder you must really rew if you want power, which you dont do all the time. I was expecting much more
