Hurst Olds and Olds 442 are different cars. 83-84 Hurst Olds. 85-87 442 so you got your own quiz wrong The Merkur is an XR4Ti. You had the name wrong. Camaro was an RS. The couple European Fords not sold in US. This quiz was a train wreck of errors.
@@ryanwarner7950 No such thing as an 91 IROC-Z was made between 85 and 90 for 91 was a Dodge Daytona IROC. And for 92-93 their was a Dodge Daytona IROC R/T.
I owned a 1980 442. The W30. Which technically is a Hurst. They changed the name that year. But it had the shifter and tranny to match. T-tops as well. The only bad thing about it was the brown and gold paint job.
@@mikewhite2457 cool car remember it well. The thing is in the ones after the 83 black and silver and 84 Silver and black were Hursts only had the lightning rod shifters. Then in 85 442 replaced the Hurst. Even with your 80 that was the gold over white W30 didn't think there were any 442 badges on it. To my recollection the 442 was in its last year of the poor selling Aeroback in 1980. Heck even back in the day at the Start the 68 black over Silver Hurst was it's own model not a 442. Going all the way through infact because so nice believe they used the Supreme as a starting point. Especially with yours which like I said was a notchback coupe and the 442 was an Aeroback.
7:05 isn't an Iroc Z28, the ground effects and lack of painted indicates that it is a 91/92, and the spoiler is a Z28 Spoiler, however a Z28 would have painted headlight buckets, but it has likely been repainted. Chevy's International Race Of Champions (IROC) deal ended in 1990, halfway through the production year. :)
Got 1 wrong, but I take issue with a "Shelby Charger" actually being a tarted up Omni. Luckily I didn't own any of these cars during these years, but I would love to find a nive Merkur .
The Omni came before the Charger. The TC3 looks almost identical to the Omni 024. The Shelby Charger got 2 headlights like the 024 and TC3. The non-Shelby Chargers got 4 headlights.
I got all of them right except 3. Two Concept cars and one Ford that was never sold in the USA. How can you ask about concept cars that were never sold?
Besides the RS200, which is not an American can... why are there SO MANY options with brands that are clearly not American? Maserati, BMW, Jaguar, TVR, Peugeot...
Missed three answers, all early 80s cars. Didn't start driving until 1985. The quiz was kind of thrown off by having so many foreign car manufacturers listed when you know it is an American car only game.
Me, beeing from Norway, missed out on two questions. Somewhat unsure wether the RS2000 was released in the US. The Delorean was produced in Northern Ireland, but mainly sold in the US (the short time it lived). The XR was sold in Europe as an Ford Sierra XR4i and in the US under the Mercury badge.
Got them all. By the way, that omni was officially called the dodge detomaso. Just fancy wheels, stripes, and the stainless steel trim at the B pillars on the regular omni 024. Infinitely more rare than a Pantera, and fun to watch Pantera owners heads explode when you roll up in your detamaso economy car lol. The camaro iroc was an RS or they used the RS body kit to do their custom vehicle As others pointed out, the rs2000 and corcel were not usa cars. The Merkur is an XR4Ti and not an XR4T. Just being pedantic.
Pretty goofy quiz... here is an American car quiz... 3 of the 4 possible answers are NOT American cars for more than half of the questions. Then, let's include other cars that were never sold in the US.
Number 1: the whole thing's a no brainer. Number 2: the 80's WERE NOT the golden age of automobiles's ! Number 3: the only car that mattered in the 80's was the 84-87 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL and the GNX!!!!
WTF was that Chrysler Conquest thing? (Canadian here, never seen/heard of it)... but damn, is it ever ugly. Toyota had a baby with a Porsche? anyway, the Multiple guesses give away this quiz, as it says American Car quiz... and most questions only have one or two american brands listed... but the corvette C3/4 thing got me, even though I had a '74, we didn't use that nomenclature back then.
Missed the rs200. Never seen one before. The other 2 obscure fords were educated guesses. What's bizarre is that I've owned a good portion of these cars, but i don't consider myself an enthusiast. I can say that I'm definitely a volkswagen freakazoid.

Yeah. And that Camero definitely looked like early 90s too. To me it looked like 91 IROC Z.

The Ford RS200 and the Ford Corcell II were never sold in the US. The Merkur XR4Ti was sold here. I thought this was an American Car Quiz.
Neither was the Ford Maya, and that was the one I missed.
But they were American Cars. That was the trick had many foreign names to choose from but were always American cars. I got them all.
yeah no shit brother the one's i misssed i have never seen or heard of in the US market.
One was a concept car. How can they make that a legit question?

That was not a S S elcamino . It was a conquesta . SS never had two tone paint
all correct, was pretty easy.
Love those 80s jugs 😅
Got 1 wrong, but I take issue with a "Shelby Charger" actually being a tarted up Omni. Luckily I didn't own any of these cars during these years, but I would love to find a nive Merkur .
I had an 86' Omni GLH that would eat stock 5.0 Foxbodies and Camaros stoplight to stoplight. Including my 91'Z28
Right! I swear it was a dry lake speed version of an Omni.
Omni was hatch back that looked like a chevette
The Delorean was not manufactured in America but was built in Northern Ireland.
It's also a DeLorean DMC-12, NOT a "DMC Delorean" lol
I guess I'm showing my age...I got every one correct!
Missed on the Ford RS2000, but then again i was expecting U.S. cars...although i did pick the other non U.S. market car correctly (Corcell).
I missed the Omni because it wasn't an Omni lol. We can all agree it's a Charger 🤣
The Omni came before the Charger. The TC3 looks almost identical to the Omni 024. The Shelby Charger got 2 headlights like the 024 and TC3. The non-Shelby Chargers got 4 headlights.
I correctly answered all of them except 3
They took the Boss emblems off one of the cars.
There was a Vehicle in the 3rd Example? I never saw it...
I hate 80's cars, but I aced it with one or two guesses.
The 80’s thunder bird turbo coupe had hood scoops
The flat back window shows this car is a Mercury Cougar XR7. The wheels also give it away.
I got all of them right except 3. Two Concept cars and one Ford that was never sold in the USA. How can you ask about concept cars that were never sold?
Should have had the women NAKED!,, would have been more of a challenge !
I was born in 81 but if it wasnt for Gran Turismo, i wouldnt have known the Australian car and the other Ford Corcell.
I had to fast fwd thru them all. I could have got 100% without multiple choice. Too easy. I'm a car guy who was a teenager in the 80's.
So you know the Maya concept car?
Oh yeah, just missed one. I was surprised I even know the European cars. And um.......where was the girl on the cover?
i got them all right show me the money$$$$$$$$$
I love Conquest with the MG Metro 6R4 twice.
Missed one. Thought it was Malibu, but did choose the Buick.
I thought this was supposed to be American cars. Definitely some European cars thrown in there. And adding Concept cars is kinda unfair too.
Besides the RS200, which is not an American can... why are there SO MANY options with brands that are clearly not American? Maserati, BMW, Jaguar, TVR, Peugeot...

Thought it was 80s cars? 🤷 Can someone explain the 1991 Camaro?
I didn't count how many cars were estimated, but it was easier to stick to the calculations that went wrong, because only two went wrong
Missed one. Not a corvette aficionado, C3/C4. I know now lol.
28/30, not bad, some odd ball ones
Missed last thought it was production cars of 80s not concept.
got them all but the last one lol
The high rise spoiler on the Camaro came out in 1991. The IROC brand ended in 1990, this is a Z-28, not an IROC..

Not Mercury, but Merkur. 😉
I only got the Chevy citation and Ford corcel wrong. Otherwise, I was able to make what the car was before the names appeared..
The first car is not a Trans Am it’s just a Firebird. Geez they can’t even get the cars right.
Got 3 wrong… a few tough ones in there.
100% shows my age lol these were all over when I was a teenager
Got a 100% This was an easy one.
❤❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮😮😮
The first is my IRL car lol, '82 Pontiac Firebird
25 correct I¨m happy with that.
Pontiac firebird
Missed 2 !
Nice one on the c5 corvette
the maya had me guessing but i guessed right, got them all correct, I'm 64.
1 wrong. The Ford concept car at the end.
missed 6

Missed 2. RS200 and I can't remember the second one.
30 of 30 ... easy
Missed 3
Piece of cake for me..I'm a 35 year plus ASE CERTIFIED AUTO TECH..my unfair advantage
When is the last time you worked on a Corcell?
I managed to get them all.
Missed maya concept and Plymouth tc4
The Thunderbird is not a turbo. No scoops.
All but the last one…
3 wrong, Ford rs200, Chrysler concept, Ford concept.
It was the Chrysler Conquest. They actually sold those. It was a rebadged Mitsubishi Starion.
First question is. Who is click bait blonde?
I don't think the first one was a trans am, looks like a lower end package
2x ,I did not even know what the heck they were, any way it was a good quiz.......
Only got 4 wrong.
Missed 4 😮
It's ok if you know all of them right ?
Too easy. I was a teenager in the 80s and a car guy.

im 8:37 minutes into the quiz, one wrong so far,,,the second car into the video
Thunderbird turbo coupe
The Delorean girl is in the ready position for a tube steak! She appears to have had a lot of practice.
a tube steak is another name for a hot dog... maybe you knew that?
If it's a quiz about cars, why didn't they at least put a car in the thumbnail? Talk about clickbait!
I passed with flying colors and I’m only 20
9 wrong! Bummer but not bad though since the 1980s is not my decade for cars
Number 1: the whole thing's a no brainer. Number 2: the 80's WERE NOT the golden age of automobiles's ! Number 3: the only car that mattered in the 80's was the 84-87 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL and the GNX!!!!

So I got 100% what did I win ?
100%
I.missed 3.
30😂
Alright….who’s the woman?
27 out of 30, not bad for a Dutchman 🙂 btw, Ford RS200 is not an American car.
too friggin easy
i missed 4
I got 2 wrong
Wow what is this Womans Name(Model) ? ❤ 🙂 Great Quiz. Informative too.
Fun but much too easy
When was the last time you saw a Corcell on the road?
So's your mama.
@@sbf_fox2434 never, I’m just saying if you look at the choices you can figure the ones you’re not sure on pretty easily.
This is misleading some of these may be made by American car companies they were not sold in the US so most Americans will not reconize them.

American cars ?
Most American cars between 1977-1987 were junk. Between 1964 and 1971, a few Mopar cars were cool, but from 1973-present day they're all junk.
I have a 74 Charger Rallye 440 AT with the optional 3.55s. Great car.
Test? It’s not even a quiz for anyone born in the 60’s.
The models ALMOST made it worth the waste of time. More errors than some of your other “quizzes”,you need to do more research. 🙄
27% that is not an SS El Camino the SS come with the same but different knows as the SS Monte Carlo
Quiz fail… whoever made this gets an F, many cars not the trim level mentioned. Must have been made by a millennial.
Yes... they all were wearing panties.
So many of these were wrong. Not to mention the non American cars. Do better. 😂😂 Himt…not everything is an SS…😂😂
I lost interest in cars built after 1975. The ladies were a nice distraction though.
Lots of these are wrong, and you can’t select them anyways. Bogus
I got 3 wrong because I'd never seen them before. They sure made some ugly cars in the 80's!
Toooooo slow
