$360,000 in 1975 is equivalent to about $1.8m in today's money
Interesting idea for a compilation, director’s are usually fascinating people
This is extraordinary. I learned new nuggets about The Godfather origins, Spinal Tap origins, Rocky origins, and James Cameron's start. Great compilation.
28 days to film!!!!!!!!! wow so awesome, fav movie of all time, ROCKY
23:35 Robin asking the great hard hitting original questions
Stallone put this in perspective perfectly about what happened with great movies and greatest roles
Sylvester said it best, when you’re pampered you lose your edge.
All of these years I've never heard Stallone say that Henry Winkler saved his ass by getting the script back from the studio after he already sold it to them. I've only heard Henry Winkler tell that story and just recently. I'm not sure why he never wanted to give Henry any credit.
I believe Winkler owns the rights to the story/ franchise. Stallone is quite bitter about it and has become more vocal this year.
It's Irwin Winkler, not Henry. Totally different person. No relation.
I could listen to those guys talk about films all day.
Howard really has a gift for interviewing people. People lower their guard for Howard in a way they don’t for more traditional media professionals.
He's a really good interviewer. That's what I always prefered about him. Much more than his brand of humour. And that's what gave him longevity, I think..
I was in Hartford when Howard was there (WCCC) … the first time I heard Pink Floyd “The Wall”, he introduced it on the FM radio.
Finally a longer clip
GREAT compilation! 👍👍👍
I saw Stallone's pic in the thumbnail. Im here for Rocky.
Legendary directors Coppola, Reiner, Burton…and then Olivia Wilde and her iPhone commercial hahah
My favorite episode so far.
Would love if you guys would upload the full video of ETM's (only) in-studio appearance when he met Kurt Angle, Diana DeGarmo and Natalie Maines!
Okay, having all those directors in there and then Olivia was actually pretty funny.
Badass compilation I love you
Howard could be a filmmaker for sure!
Private Parts, it is a Great movie
Jim Cameron doing an interview two days before the Titanic release... what...
Poor Michael Keaton, if Tim Burton says you look crazy...
I love this
1999 howard stern was amazing
he's still hilarious. actually he's funnier now. much quicker.
@@butterflymoon6368 no
Olivia Wilde, lol.
Burton and Cage should do Kingdom Come.
Where do James Cameron’s ideas come from? Harlan Ellison
Nick Cage as Superman😮
Hans Zimmer said that This is Spinal Tap is practically a music documentary
Be nice if you guys could help nudge Jd into directing a movie. Its his dream thats slowly being smothered away.
And yes hes his own man, but urrrrhgh uh uh you know.
It's interesting how they are all very generous with the real stories.....
To be honest, I think they actually missed a trick not hiring Nick Nolte to play Rocky. Rocky IV would have been awesome with him in it.
Stallone is awesome!
My two favorites were Paradise Alley & Copland.
Tarantino? Reservoir Dogs... out of the park!
All these legends, then Olivia Wilde lol whomp whomp.
Wow
Whose high pitch?
They come from Harlan Ellison?
What the hell was Olivia Wilde doing in this?
Henry Winkler saved Rocky!
howard still rules
Watch The Offer on Paramount+ great series on this whole story on the making of the Godfather.
I'm really sorry we didn't get a Nicolas Cage/Tim Burton Superman...
I remember reading The Godfather way after seeing the movie and thinking the same thing. What is with this story about the chick’s vagina!? So funny copolla thought the same thing!
Ok
Make some wackpack compilations!
I still don't get Spinal Tap.
Not something to be proud of really.
😂
Oscar winning directors...and Olivia Wilde? really?
Top fives are too much. My top 3 Directors of all-time in order, 1.) Stanley Kubrick 2.) David Lynch 3.) Martin Scorsese
Aus Geld Gründen Krieg führen ist ja ein guter Krieg.
Wirtschaftkrieg ist ja auch ein guter Krieg.
Stimmt doch Helene.
Ja,Helene sagt das wäre ein guter Krieg.
Pok Pok Pok
THE WOMAN THERE ADDS NOTHING TO THE SUPER INTERESTING CONVERSATIONS
Robin sure didn't age well.
It was all good till tarantino,,,he cant even make a serious or realistic movie
James Cameron is so self-absorbed and bloated
