      Hi. It's an ABB 7-axis robot arm. I don't have any more information than that, I'm just an artist!

    How long did this take to fully carve out?

      Hi. sorry I missed this .. it was milled by the robot arm over 4 days or so, but probably about 48 hours actual milling time. then hand finished over the next couple of days

    I understand that the arm movement is usually driven by an electric driver (motor) and controlled by a microcontroller to perform sequential tasks.

    How the robot arm is controlled and or programmed to do so?

      I work with engineers who use Alphacam to program the tool paths

      No idea! More than I could ever afford - I work with a company who own the machines.
