Very nice overnighter. The Selway is such a beautiful river! I hope the river otter was the only one eating trout - it's catch and release above Meadow Creek until Memorial Day. And it's barbless hooks only. I can't believe the other hikers left their campfire smoldering. Thanks for extinguishing it.
I was thinking the same thing, as Fish and Game love to watch videos and social media. The side creeks I believe are open to keep fish, but I am not sure about that. I would like to hike into this area from the MT side and hike out to Selway Falls. Nicely done video.
Great video. How many miles in were you when you camped? Did you say you moved closer to the river off the trail from the large flat area you first encountered for your campsite? Heading up this trail in a couple weeks. Thanks!
Nice video. Good to see the trail conditions, river otter. The Selway is a great river. I will watch more of your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool! Liked the otter and the beaches. Hike on!
Wonderful trip! I think that was an otter! Nice to get out and enjoy nature - loved the sounds and the beautiful country!

It's never tiring to see an eagle. Was that an otter? Those ducks had beautiful colors. Nice trip!
I think it was an otter. He was big though! At first my mind thought some sort of seal - funny.
