Kula Shaker In Bexhill, UK 2024

- In nearly 30 years of being an avid fan of Kula Shake, I've never seen them live. Until now, 23rd April 2024, when Amy and Dan took me to see them at a local venue. The De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, was host to Kula Shaker, and what a fabulous evening it was. Tonight I was only armed with an iPhone 15, so the photography isn't that great, and for fear of copyright issues on YT, I only captured a few snippets of music. But what I wanted to do was capture the atmosphere of a KS gig, and a fun night out.
Gonna be seeing them on Friday at the Electric Ballroom, the gigs sold out and the venue always lends itself to a great atmosphere! Great review you've certainly wetted my appetite🎉
Excellent stuff. I noticed that tonight’s Electric Ballroom was sold out, but there appear to be tickets left for tomorrow (Saturday) as well as for other gigs in the UK and Europe. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel if not already- I’ve got loads of stuff about Kula Shaker on here, including in my hifi equipment reviews. Sound of Drums is a bit of a torture track for a lot of equipment, so I use it as a test track. And share the video! Thanks!☺️

@@MarkPMus what a great gig! Did they have the Bangladesh lady on stage with them when they played at the Pavilion?
@@garywse7 No, we had the Dhol Foundation instead, who played that amazing percussion. The lead player was invited to play during the encore. We didn’t get Great Hosanna, which I saw in a photo of the set list on Twitter that you got at the ballroom, during the encore. I guess that’s when the Bangladeshi lady sang?

What did you think of the new songs and have you listened to the latest album yet, I’ve avoided listening to it online as I will get the vinyl soon as they’ve been one of my favourite bands over the last 20 years.
Live music, and matter of fact live performance of any sort, is the best you certainly enjoyed it Mark thanks for sharing
