I can tell you are a deicated player, i have only been playing since around the release of 1.5, although you'd expect that as someone eho has been playing since the redstone update i would know some redstone but all ive got stored up is a comparator clock
It’s easy to keep them away from your house by taming and breeding a bunch of cats and then positioning them around your base, the creepers will run away from the cats so they are good to have around if you hate creepers
not going to lie, this playthrough was alot more watchable and better than other walkthroughs by newbies honestly if i didnt know u were new to the game i would have thought you’ve been playing for a few years

What is actually important is the light level so While the center was lit up and most of the hall gets lit up when you started digging the room the corners were dark enough for the spiders to spawn. 4 torches in the corner is better than the 5 people always cover spawners with.
@@helenlockley1773 The way it works is light level. If five torches de-activates it just on its own then the room isn't as large. Dark areas around can still spawn mobs even if the spawner has torches on all sides.
@@RuneOni yes it's more of an correlation thing. People seem to think that if you put a torch on every side nothing can spawn. But mobs can still spawn from them if they're behind a wall and it's dark.

There is actually a way for you to keep your dirt as dirt, just add two dirt and two gravel together in a crafting table and you get the so-called "coarse dirt" which looks a lot like dirt but grass cant grow on it
Emeralds are theoretically rarer as they only spawn in Extreme Hills (now Mountain) biomes, but experimentally, if you were mining where you can find them at all, they far commoner.

The reason emerald ore is so rare is because it only generates in mountain biomes, and only on veins of one. There will be a lot more emerald veins than diamond veins when looking in the right place though.
It really is quite nice to see Mikey’s evolution through Minecraft. Going from someone who knows nothing (with PurpleClif and Pokemen7) to someone who knows a decent amount. Keep up the good work there, sir!
emeralds only spawn in hills biome(which you were mining in),so you found emeralds. You can't find emeralds in a normal biome like plains and forests. Only hills (and other types of hills)
Actually I think he was just talking about how in real life cities and towns were built on coastlines for general transportation and trade, not specifically human trafficking.
Some tips, using a kelp exp farm is quite a good way to get exp , also curing a zombie villager means all their prices will go down , therefore you can get villagers that sell enchanted books for 1 emerald and replace the block to make them a certain professional means their items will change (that is if you haven’t brought something from them , locked them in) you can cure them from using a splash potion of weakness (I think) and then right click on them with a golden apple

Emralds spawn more frequently than diamonds but emralds only spawn in a specific biome while diamonds are in every single overworld biome. (Edit: Thanks for all the likes!)
11:01 i´ve recently started on Minecraft again for the first time in 12 years and during a journey i found the icebergs as well and learned to stay away from polar bears since getting close pisses them off also found pandas in a Bamboo forrest or Jungle i guess it is 12:04 i killed a group of those Illagers yesterday and somehow caused them to come and attack the village i lived nearby they came in three waves and was super hard to fight off at the final wave they even had their own battle animal that looked like an armored bison
As a newbie myself, I would LOVE to see you continue this! I’m very bad at Minecraft and get lost so easily (that and playing on Bedrock edition and losing my boat every single FREAKING time I just try to get out of them!!!) If he was a pro, then he'd know that if you place a block on a tile that a bucket of water/lava was spilled on, then the source of the liquid is completely gone. No need for a bucket constantly to get rid of water and prevent drowning.

Hey Mikey, for the villager situation I do suggest you using a fletcher to trade for emeralds. Their workstation is a fletching table which is craft with two flint and four wood planks. Their first trade normally asks for 32 sticks for an emerald, which is 4 wood. With ample amounts of dark oak trees, you could get a lot of emeralds from villagers. Hope it helps! Edit: After testing trading with villagers, spruce trees from the taiga forest are definitely better. You can plant them in 2x2 to grow a big spruce tree which can give you more than a stack of logs. Converting all of it into sticks and trading to a fletcher will allow you to get 16 emeralds every few days since they lock up the trade after trading with them 16 times

Tip for 1.17: diamonds spawn at y level 5 and 6 more frequently
I did not know this I have spent over 50 days mining in my world and found no diamonds at Y 12 I will go down to Y 5 immediately when I start playing again tomorrow
They fixxed it on Bedrock edition not shure about java
and 8 vein diamonds are super rare now.

Emralds spawn more frequently than diamonds but emralds only spawn in a specific biome while diamonds are in every single overworld biome.

11:01 i´ve recently started on Minecraft again for the first time in 12 years and during a journey i found the icebergs as well and learned to stay away from polar bears since getting close pisses them off also found pandas in a Bamboo forrest or Jungle i guess it is
12:04 i killed a group of those Illagers yesterday and somehow caused them to come and attack the village i lived nearby they came in three waves and was super hard to fight off at the final wave they even had their own battle animal that looked like an armored bison
the polar bears only attack you if their kids are nearby

As a newbie myself, I would LOVE to see you continue this! I’m very bad at Minecraft and get lost so easily (that and playing on Bedrock edition and losing my boat every single FREAKING time I just try to get out of them!!!) I was so paranoid that I’d die and lose the bamboo I had gotten lost looking for that I didn’t go back and play it until a literal month and a half later.
Update though, I made it back to my base finally! XD I now just need to stop being a baby… and go to the Nether TwT
IF you always get lost use a book and quill using a book a ink sac and feather.
I am in the Nether in my playthrough. It is terrible. I am constantly murdered by the armies of skeletons that happen to spawn.
Can we talk about how Michael calls himself a noob when he is not. He has made a great house (This is me on day 21). And has played safe and has able to do a lot of stuff. He is not a noob he is actually a pretty good player. But I'm not saying hes a "Pro".
Edit : Lets make this clear I don't think hes a pro. He is ok he is not bad and he is better then he says he is. He is ok or average
If he was a pro, then he'd know that if you place a block on a tile that a bucket of water/lava was spilled on, then the source of the liquid is completely gone. No need for a bucket constantly to get rid of water and prevent drowning.
@Jack Heidl True he does not run but he did really good. And sorting his inventory is like you don't need to. Only by episode 21 he had a great house that actually looked good.

Hey Mikey, for the villager situation I do suggest you using a fletcher to trade for emeralds. Their workstation is a fletching table which is craft with two flint and four wood planks. Their first trade normally asks for 32 sticks for an emerald, which is 4 wood. With ample amounts of dark oak trees, you could get a lot of emeralds from villagers. Hope it helps!
Edit: After testing trading with villagers, spruce trees from the taiga forest are definitely better. You can plant them in 2x2 to grow a big spruce tree which can give you more than a stack of logs. Converting all of it into sticks and trading to a fletcher will allow you to get 16 emeralds every few days since they lock up the trade after trading with them 16 times
