I was so intimidated by Stormlight lol, I started my Sanderson journey by Warbreaker and I was a bit underwhelmed but entertained, then I almost DNFd Mistborn. After that I took a long hard look into the mirror and said to myself not to expect anything from it, just enjoy the ride. And I picked up The Final Empire again…. And magic happened! I can’t name any other series I had such a pure joy reading as an adult. I cried screamed, was worried about our heroes…. lol I had it all… Taught me to try to enjoy the books for what they are and not their hype. I also read and really enjoyed Stormlight this year and it only took me four months to finish and lol then I had major book hangover! So worth it! It’s like a fever I was so emerged in the story and was genuinely looking forward during the day to go back home and read! It’s funny feeling if you are running in the middle of fields and thinking about going home reading about your favorite characters…. It’s like dopamine inception lol Very good series! And nobody will take my pure enjoyment of it, Sanderson is genius of that my silly cold heart doesn’t get easily attached to fictional characters but yay I should probably stop rambling now…. Anyways great video I really love your energy and personality! 👋
